Location was good. The staff had made an attempt to jazz it up with nicely displayed towels and toiletries.

Very tired old motel in great need of painting, reno, improvement. Cracked and missing tiles in the bathroom. Kitchenette very cramped and looked as though it had been water damaged. We had a booked a pool view room but the pool 'view' was blocked by an awning.

Convenient location. Clean and simple. Good to have a balcony. Comfortable beds. Big rooms

We have stayed 3 times now and will be back but the upstairs rooms need to be upgraded as they are getting old. While very clean just getting old. Our shower door was broken and beds need to be upgraded.

Clean, tidy and very centrally located, good for a one night stay if you are road tripping and need somewhere to stop.

We were caught out in a storm while camping and took longer than usual to pack up our wet gear. I wasn’t sure if we would be able to make it to the motel before reception closed at 6pm, so I decided to let them know that we may arrive just after 6pm and ask what the check in process is in case reception is unmanned on arrival. I sent that message at 3 PM (on a Thursday, regular work day, peak time during New Years holidays) leaving sufficient time to respond. At the same time, my partner gave them a call at the number they had listed, left a voicemail with the request for a callback because we had a few questions. Nothing came back - no message, no callback. Reception was closed on arrival (just before 6). We called the number again, leaving another message, as nobody picked up. Shortly after we were called back letting us know somebody was coming over. When the receptionist/manager came, she informed us that she was just about to put our key under the door mat. She also made an out-of-context comment about my nationality when I asked why they didn’t respond to my communication, which came across rather unprofessional - she addressed my partner about it, speaking about me in the third person while I was standing right there. It seemed to confuse her as to why we would even use the messaging service on Booking.com. I’m left wondering - should I have guessed that the key would be under the door mat? For reference- I had not been given a room number prior to our arrival and had no way of knowing what door mat to check under. I think these are basics - making sure your guest receives all instructions needed to get into their room and responding to any queries they may have. Room for improvement here.

We had a lovely stay. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. Rooms were very clean. The kids totally enjoyed the swimming pool. We would definitely come back again and stay if in the area. Thank you.
