The staff was really friendly, helpful. Bathroom is cleaned every day, that's a huge benefit. The atmosphere is cool and friendly too. Free breakfast and coffee. I recommend this place for everyone especially for backpackers or solo travelers.
Everything was okay, just only thing that triggered me that you can't lock the bathroom, so you have to listen if no one is coming while you're there, but it havent ruined my stay here at all.

The staff and the bar
My mattress and pillow were dirty. I wouldn’t let my dog sleep on it. However the sheets were pristine, cleaned by a laundry service. The bunk beds not sturdy enough for adults. There is thick dust on everything and the electrics sockets old.

Big hostel. Really friendly stuff. Possibility to rent a bike and ride to Gallipoli (8km) and the surrounding parks. Nice garden with chairs and tables.
At the end of April the hostel was quite empty.

very big, a lot of young people and a lot of common areas so it was easy to meet new people (very useful if you’re traveling alone). It is like 2 minutes away from the train station so it was easy to move around.
it didn’t have a kitchen so it was kind of difficult to cook your own meals. There are not many bathrooms, I was in a room of 8 and there were two bathrooms.

this is quite a huge hostel, literally three minutes from the train station :) stayed a week and felt like home, Quintino is adorable and super flexible and it was hard to say goodbye! thank you so much again :)

Extra costs for the bed sheets (€5).
Aircondition just allowed between 11pm to 7am.
No toilet paper in the bathroom.

Bed sheets should be included in the price of the night stay or at least they should put a protective mattress cover for hygienic reasons.
The included breakfast starts so late (8.40) that I never actually had it.
The 24h shuttle they provide is pricy and kind of a way to double the money of your stay.

I liked the fact that I had a room exclusively for myself. It is an advantage of traveling in January. Additionally one day (when trains did not stop at Alezio train station) the owner of the hostel gave me a lift to and from Gallipoli.
It could have been warmer in the room.

The staff was AMAZING! They are really ready to greet their guest and offer a bunch of useful services. Thanks for all your help and advice. Also, having in mind how big the hostel is, I would say it was clean and tranquil at night.
