The staff were so kind and attentive during our stay.

There was a strong smell of damp in our room which was very off putting and not what you’d expect from a hotel in this price range. Staff were apologetic and offered a diffuser which did help but didn’t entirely eliminate the smell.

We stayed in the one bedroom pool villa which was absolutely stunning! We had the floating breakfast and did there couple package at the spa which was lovely! Also there yoga they offer was amazing!

We didn’t really enjoy the food at the restaurant. Weird strong sewer smell that came from the shower drains!

The resort provides free shuttle to Ubud Centre which is a plus-point. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Love the balcony area.

i loved how relaxed and tranquil the Udaya was.. the staff were amzing and made everything perfect.. the spa treatment was also great, i enjoyed all the facilities.

we had to wait a long time to get towels for the pool.. i wished i had have explored around the resort.. i think the staff could have informed us a bit more of the local neighbourhood cafes and offerings

Beautiful resort, very large, stunning tropical gardens. Great breakfast, large menu, great service from the staff.

Our allocated Pool Villa was VERY far from the facilities, restaurant, spa etc. Very long walk up and down many sets of stairs. Our pool villa got no sun, the lounge chairs were placed around the side of the villa and were filthy with dirt and debris from above trees, and once wet from rain unusable. Villas were not private could view into others pools and them into ours with ease. Could also hear other guests with ease. Our shower glass screen was worn and stones to stand on also felt unclean / unhygienic.

Loved everything, the resort is beautiful, located in a wonderful place just minutes outside Ubud centre. People working in a resort is 10/10- everything you need is worked out fast and with smile, nothing asked is to much! The rooms are gorgeous, clean, well maintained, every detail is thought of. Breakfast and restaurant menu with lots of choices and very delicious. We feel very taken care of here!

My boyfriend and I booked The Udaya for our birthday trip—every interaction from booking to check out was lovely. Upon booking, I was contacted via booking.com and whatsapp to confirm arrival times. The resort is 10 minutes drive from Ubud Palace/Ubud Centre, which is easily reached by their free shuttle that departs at the top of the hour. The shuttle arrives promptly at Ubud Centre at 10 minutes after the hour, and guests can catch the shuttle back to the resort on its way back up the hill. The Udaya is stunning, beautifully landscaped and cared for by its kind staff. The main pool area is beautiful and quiet—there are plenty of loungers, as well as round cabana lounges and a fire pit on the way up to the restaurant. The grounds are covered in greenery and exotic flowers, as well as having a beautiful koi pond. There are wild animals all around Bali, so naturally there are noises throughout the day :) We booked the One Bedroom Pool Villa for 10 nights. The rooms are beautifully appointed, with tons of space for unpacking, lounging, and relaxing. The bathroom features both a shower and a large stone tub, along with his and her sinks. The resort crew took care of any amenity or question we had with kindness and thoughtfulness. We appreciated the small touches, such as nightly turndown service and complimentary mineral water. The beds are comfortable—firm but plush, and the mosquito net is a welcome addition. We ordered room service and ate at the restaurant quite often during the trip (especially late night), and especially loved the hotel's breakfast. Udaya served as a home base for us to take day trips and also explore Ubud. Udaya's location is the perfect escape from the busy city centre. We took advantage of everything The Udaya had to offer, including the Kaveri Spa, the in-room Citrus bath (a must! the pandan was so fragrant), the New Moon Dinner, and even our engagement :) We can't wait to come back and visit.

everything was top notch! staff so kind and friendly! yoga instructor Ketut was excellent! our suite was lovely and spa outstanding with my therapist Trisna being the best on massages!

just as feedback compared to similar properties in the Ubud area found it a bit more overpriced..

that smoking is allowed in the bar/restaurant area and also on the balconies of the room. smoke would come through ventilation at night and very stinky
