Loved our stay! It was in the perfect location . Stunning views made it hard to leave so much so that we chose to eat in and enjoy every moment we had there!

If you are looking for the ambience of a coastal New England cottage, look no further. Minnow Cottage is a little gem located on the water in a cove with spectacular views from every room and a gorgeous front garden full of hydrangeas. Waking up with morning coffee at the table in the sunroom, whether rain or shine, with a panoramic view of the boats, birds, flowers and wildlife provides an opportunity to savor the simple pleasures of life and will set the tone for the day. This immaculate home is well-appointed and decorated with a sophisticated eye without losing the charm and coziness of a coastal cottage. Brian has accounted for every need to make your stay comfortable and convenient. Minnow Cottage is a short walk to Dock Square for dining and shopping. Lots of dining choices within walking distance including the famous Clam Shack whose lobster roll lives up to its reputation. Loads of antique stores, hydrangeas, beautiful views and seafood throughout Kennebunkport and Kennebunk. We took day trips to Freeport, Rockport and Salem and Gloucester, MA. I fell in love with the area and didn't want to leave. We will be back.

We could not have been more pleased with this quintessential Maine cottage. Incredible location in walking distance to everything. The cottage was exceptionally decorated and the quaint space was maximized through thoughtful coastal design. Even better than the pictures. One queen bedroom was on the first floor, adjacent to the bathroom and kitchen. The other two bedrooms are on the second level of the cottage, accessible by a wee staircase. The single bathroom is cozy and compact. The dining room faces the port and we enjoyed having our morning coffee watching the lobster and whale watching boats. Having cocktails on the yard at sunset was also a favorite, and we got to listen to live music from dock square without having to leave the property. Despite the location the home was very quiet. Having AC is often a luxury in coastal Maine and this cottage was equipped. But a wonderful breeze filtered through the home when the windows were open. While this stay was only my husband and I, it would be a wonderful place for a couple with young children. Charming, sophisticated and perfect location for exploring lower Maine. We will be back!!

Minnow Cottage is truly a very special property! The water views are beautifully breathtaking and the home itself is truly magical. The location is close to town and an easy walk to restaurants and shopping. The beaches are nearby and the town itself is so fun! We had a very comfortable stay. The cottage really felt like a home. It had everything we needed and more!

This lovely, charming cottage is a true gem! The location is more than perfect and within walking distance to shops, restaurants and water activities. We fell in love with Kennebunkport and look forward to our next visit. Can’t say enough about the cleanliness of the cottage and wonderful communication from Brian. I can’t imagine calling anywhere else “home” when visiting beautiful Kennebunkport!!

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautifully decorated cottage with great views of the river. So nice to be able to walk to restaurants, shops and the beach.

Outstanding and seamless.

We love this cute little home by the water. It's a perfect spot for downtown access and a short drive to the beaches. It's got a great set up and generous kitchen, dining area, etc. We've been several times and in different seasons and it's always lovely. Meticulously kept up and wonderful correspondence with Brian the property manager.

This property is everything it states it is. Perfect location for walking to anything in Kennebuckport. Wonderful local community stores and restaurants. Short car trips to wonderful Maine features. We thoroughly loved our week in Maine!

It was everything as listed. It was great not to have to get the car out to get to town. Lots of family owned stores and restaurants. All the wonderful previous reviews were exactly right.

Everything was picture perfect!

We are repeat customers and visit Kennebunkport each year. This is a lovely location and close to the downtown. The house is very well kept up. Communications with Brian, the house manager is excellent.

I can’t say enough good things about this house. It’s even more beautiful than the pictures online. The landscaping and decor are gorgeous and the location could not be better. There were so many nice touches- food bag for picnics, lots of fluffy towels & pillows, throw blankets and fantastic air conditioning! Book this house with no hesitation.

Only a 1-minute walk to the town center of Kennebunkport, this cute cottage has location, location, location. The interior design is adorable. The amenities were fantastic. Perfect for a group of 4.

Such a cute cottage and you can walk everywhere!! We cooked every day and the kitchen had everything we needed. The family of ducks visited everyday and the dining room has a great view!

This cottage is beautiful and in a great location. My husband and I had a wonderful time in KPT.

Great experience staying at the Minnow Cottage. Great location if you want to be in the middle of all that KPT has to offer. Pictures are accurate, and the living room was larger than anticipated. We would definitely stay again.

I saw a photo of the Minnow Cottage many months ago and I knew I had to see it in person.. Could our visit be as picture perfect as the photo.? The answer is yes and more. The charming house is decorated with comfortable furniture and the stamp of an interior designer. The house is well cared for and well stocked. We sat at the dining room table and watch the boats come and go, saw beautiful birds, and stunning sunsets. I would love to share the whole experience with my grandchildren. My friends and I thank you for a lovely stay.

This property is the quintessential cottage in Maine… right on the water! This location is perfectly nestled in the heart of Kennebunkport, with breathtaking views out of the many windows and just a short walk from great restaurants and shops. The owner has done a fabulous job with the decor, providing a warm cozy environment with an abundance of amenities. Enjoy!

This is a wonderful house. Right on the harbor. You can walk to everything in Kennebunkport and Kennebunk. It is beautifully decorated and furnished. The kitchen is well furnished. You feel like you are in your Maine summer house. Brian the Host is conscientious and quick to answer any questions. He is truly interested in ensuring his guests have a great time. Love this place. We absolutely loved our stay at "Minnow Cottage". The cottage's newly renovated interiors with charming, chic and comfortable decor made for the perfect vacation getaway . We enjoyed watching the harbor activity from the dining room, and having sunset cocktails while relaxing on the small lawn. House was perfect location for easy walking to village shops and restaurants- tucked away just enough so it felt private. Host was helpful and communicative.

We have a fabulous stay in Kennebunkport just prior to peak season. Minnow Cottage is conveniently located within walking distance of everything in downtown. We loved sitting in the dining room enjoying take-out while watching the sun set and the tides change. The property was clean and comfortable--incredibly COVID-safe. Excellent communication with Brian. We can't recommend this property highly enough, and we look forward to returning! This was our 7th trip to Maine, and we found our new favorite place to stay.
