Issue with the heating on the first night. Issue with the lock box to gain access to the property, this issue was resolved in a timely manner Slow response when contacted about the heating issue, email and message sent , reply received 5 hours later and issue not fixed until the next day. Host called it Teething problems!

So cute! Lovely little cabin.

A couple of little things: A security light while coming through the side gate would be helpful, as I was walking along in the dark. The bed was a bit lumpy, and the air fresheners kept me awake most of the night even though I shut them away in the wardrobe. The bin hadn’t been cleared out before I arrived and there was fruit in it, but it didn’t smell. There was also a very tiny bit of loo roll left and I couldn’t find any more anywhere, but luckily I had some tissues in my bag. The photos on the Booking website didn’t match the suite.

The WiFi and Smart tv were great.

The problems started when a member of our party went to sleep in one of the single beds but it had such a slope it made it difficult to sleep and be reasonably comfortable. But he just accepted and we assumed it was just how the bed was. We then had the police at the door at 10:30 looking for someone that was meant to be staying in the guest house which is in the garden. This could’ve potentially put all of us in the house in a significant amount of danger. We had to be up at 5am for work the following day so we were all in bed asleep. The owners knew this person was staying and gave the police the key code to the side gate so they could get in but they ended up having to go through the house. Obviously we were all shook up by the whole experience resulting in a terrible nights sleep. The owners have since gone on to ask for £250 for a new bed which we did not break and refuse to answer messages and calls when disputing this along with zero compensation for potentially putting us in a serious amount of danger. I find this disregard for our safety utterly disgusting.

Location was paramount for easy access to area. Quiet,unobtrusive place tucked in behind the main house that ticked the boxes for our short visit

It was fine for a short visit but would not want to spend a holiday there as it is very compact

Compact but comfortable. All amenities needed for a short stay. Good price.

Free view tv would be good as if you don’t have your own Netflix account you cannot use the tv.

What i liked about the property was the bed and maybe the location. Not too far from town and the local shops was nearby.

It was cold but that was expected since these days the temperatures dropped. We had to turn on the heaters as soon we got inside. Wifi connection was poor because Netflix or Prime Video kept on failing duo to poor connectivity.
