Siamo così entusiasti di condividere la nostra tanto attesa casa dei sogni nella bellissima città di Cape Charles. Abbiamo chiamato la nostra casa "The Lighthouse Inn". Siamo situati a due isolati dalla spiaggia e ad un isolato dalla città dove troverete ristoranti, negozi, la biblioteca, gelati fatti in casa, ecc.
Questa casa di 2800 piedi quadrati recentemente rinnovata offre 4 camere da letto, 4 bagni e 1/2, soggiorno, camera familiare, zona pranzo, cucina e garage.
Il primo piano offre una master suite con un letto matrimoniale e un bagno completo con doccia. Un soggiorno con un divano e due sedie da ragazzo pigro. Successivamente hai la camera familiare con un grande sezionale in pelle e uno schermo piatto da 60 pollici T. V. Hai anche un bagno 1/2 con una lavatrice e asciugatrice fuori dalla camera familiare. La cucina è completamente fornita di tutto il necessario per sentirsi come a casa. La cucina ha anche un piano bar allungato con 3 sgabelli per ulteriori posti a sedere. La sala da pranzo scorre proprio fuori dalla cucina e ha un grande tavolo che può ospitare 10 persone. Al largo della sala da pranzo è una porta scorrevole in vetro che conduce al ponte nel cortile. Il cortile è completamente recintato e offre una nuova griglia a gas, una nuova griglia fumatore / carbone da 5 piedi, 2 tavoli da picnic e un tavolo da patio. Verso la parte posteriore del cortile si trova il garage dove troverete il tavolo da ping pong, biliardino, freccette, buche di mais, biciclette, sedie da spiaggia, giochi da spiaggia, kayak, ecc. C'è anche un ampio parcheggio di fronte al garage.
Il secondo livello dispone di 3 camere da letto una master suite con un letto matrimoniale, un bagno completo con box doccia separato e una vasca idromassaggio. La camera da letto numero due al piano superiore ha un letto full size e un letto a castello con una doppia sopra un bagno full size e un bagno full size. We’ve been to Cape Charles multiple times and this has been our best stay so far! The house is roomy and equipped with pretty much anything you’ll need for your stay. The host is friendly and prompt. The beds are okay, but at least there are plenty of options! We’d definitely stay here again.

Loved the proximity of town and the beach, the backyard and great communication. The only thing I wish I knew is that the one bigger bunk room is open to the rest of the house which made sleeping with kids a bit more challenging. Otherwise, definitely a beautiful, clean home. Thank you so much!

We spent a mid-May week at the Lighthouse Inn. Spacious, clean, many bathrooms, plenty of beach/recreation equipment provided. We only used the sand toys, but everything looked well kept.
Pros:
- Location can’t be beat. A block off the main street, a few blocks from the beach, and a few blocks from the city park.
- Plenty of space for our family group of four adults and a toddler. We liked the configuration of three bedrooms up, one on the main floor. The master suite is really large.
- Kitchen was well equipped. Everything in the house was in good working order.
- Nice to have heat/cooling controls on both levels.
- Beds were comfy.
Cons:
- Equipment listed a high chair, but there wasn’t one in the house. Quickly remedied once we contacted the owner.
- We had issues with small ants in the dining & kitchen area. Owner immediately provided traps and spray, but the issue persisted on and off all week. I know they plan to treat for them right after we leave, so my guess is that this won’t be an issue for future guests.
- The property is very nice inside but has a lot of fragile knickknacks. We’d expect to do some toddler-proofing anyplace to keep things out of reach, but this was quite a bit to move and then replace when we left. Fortunately, there were plenty of closets for storage. But if you are traveling with small kids, plan to spend some time at the beginning and end to make sure the items are kept safe.
Overall a very good stay and we'd rent again!

We needed a central location for a bridal shower at Chatham Vineyards for our family to meet and stay at. The house was everything we needed!

Our family was in town for a wedding, we wanted to be within walking distance to town. This property is one street back from the shopping/dining area, it was SO convenient. We were not fans of the city tap water for drinking, but the refrigerator water dispenser has a filter and you might want to bring a jug of filtered water for the coffee maker. We hope to return to CC and stay at the property again when we have more time to explore the area and take advantage of the inviting back yard.

This house is great for groups; so many beds. Christine's house is beautiful, clean, well-appointed, comfortable, etc. Unfortunately, the local golf course, Bay Creek, has gone private and it is more difficult to make a tee time. We had our last outing the past 2 days and will probably look elsewhere for our 6th annual trip. We will miss The Lighthouse; I can't say enough good things about it! We will miss you Christine!

This was our first visit to Cape Charles and we will definitely be back! The house was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The owners were wonderful and responsive. The back deck really added to our relaxation. We had everything we needed and loved the proximity to the beach.

We so enjoyed our stay at The Lighthouse Inn. It was just the right fit for our family, and each bedroom having a bathroom was nice. The kitchen was well stocked with anything and everything you might need. The location was amazing with quick access to the beach and restaurants. The bicycles, kayak and pink pong table were extra treats. What fun!!! We hope to return next year!!!

Family friendly
Great family friendly property. Loved having the fenced in yard for keeping kids contained. Nicely shaded for the hottest of days. Each bedroom has an attached bathroom which is a huge bonus for us.

Perfect home in Cape Charles
We ABSOLUTELY LOVED our stay at The Lighthouse. The home was even better than the photos, along with the back yard and garage which my granddaughter named the Fun House!
Christine was wonderful to work with and we hope to rent here again next year!

Great for a group of friends/kids
This house has everything! The location is perfect. We loved the backyard and garage with all the beach amenities. We rented Christine’s golf cart to get around town. So easy and fun for the adults and kids. We really appreciated having a bathroom in each bedroom and the downstairs was very spacious and open. We can’t wait to come back!

Great location and house for a weekend stay!
We had a wonderful time staying in Cape Charles. The house was located both near town and the beach. We rented a golf cart and loved being able to zip from the house to town to the beach to the playground at the park. The house is cute and the beds are super comfortable. Christine was a great host!

Our group had a wonderful time on our vacation. The house is lovely - it had plenty of space for our group. The location is fantastic- close to the beach and shops. And the owner was fabulous to work with. I highly recommend this property!

Terrific Home For our Biking Team!
A group of six of us, regular visitors to the area but now living across the length of the East Coast, arrived at the Lighthouse Inn on a Friday and stayed through Sunday. We had a terrific time and the house was exactly as advertised -- actually better!! It was perfect for us -- with very large spaces and lots of terrific updates to every space. In addition, Christine placed everything possible in the house that we might need. Although we did not have any children with us, the accommodations and the little extras throughout the house are perfect for a range of kids age groups.
The house has a very large kitchen and dining area, as well as spacious outside space, including an assortment of grills which we used for our Saturday meal. The bedrooms are very large -- and beautiful -- especially the main bedroom on the second floor Larger than some apartments). There are many extras available, including a golf cart for rent.
The house was very clean and nice towels and bedding were provided.
We found Christine to be very accommodating and easy to reach -- quick to respond. We had a couple of special requests and she took care of us!!!
Two blocks from the beach -- as well as the many stores, restaurants, and coffee shops that Cape Charles offers -- a perfect location!!!!

Great place to stay
This house was well equipped and very clean when we arrived. Owner was fairly responsive via text to initial difficulties with getting into the property using the lock box code. We enjoyed Cape Charles and would definitely consider staying at the Lighthouse again.

4th Annual Cape 8 Golf Outing
I cannot say enough about this property; it is perfect for 8 women. We had warm weather for the first time and were able to utilize the beautiful outdoor area. It is walking distance to the beach and shopping and just a 5 minute drive to Bay Creek. From the decorations, sheets, towels, etc. everything is always perfect. Christine is easy to reach and respond. Love The Lighthouse!

We absolutely LOVED staying at the Lighthouse Inn. The location was perfect, just 1 block behind the main stretch, the room setup gave each of our guests plenty of personal space (especially with 4.5 bathrooms), and the amenities were amazing too. This is the cleanest house we’ve ever rented and every inch of the property was filled with beach house / rustic charm that made this weekend visit a breath of fresh air. Christine was so welcoming — and the golf cart is a must-do rental to cruise around town. 5 stars, for sure!

We loved our late summer getaway at this wonderful home. The location was very convenient and we all loved having our own en-suite bathrooms. The family ranged in ages from 16 to 91 and there was something for everyone to enjoy. We made use of the kayaks and ping pong table, beach chairs, grill and golf cart. Plenty of comfortable gathering spots both indoors and out. Host was very accommodating and responsive.
