Everything exceeded our expectations. This was my first time in the area and I found the Hotel on booking. I had a trip and visited the nearby tourist attractions and I can honestly say that the Sofra e Kelmendit hotel was the beat place to be. Location is great, the room very modern and high quality with a traditional feel at the same time, very clean and the view from the Balcony was a bonus. The breakfast was excellent, we also had dinner there which surpassed our expectations. 10/10

Lovely small village in the middle of the mountains. The room was extra comfy and really clean, I really didn't expect such a nice place to stay and I was positive surprised. The view from the balcony is superb, room and bathroom were really clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant below is very delicious. Wifi didn't work in the evening we arrived, but they fixed it until the next morning. The village is really small and tidy, all made of stones. The parking is provided in front of the property. Although it was October and a little chilly, rooms were warm. We really enjoyed our short stay here and hope to come back someday for longer period of time.

The room was beautiful, spacious and very clean. Very good restaurant downstairs with a wide selection of dishes, including meat cooked over an outdoor wood fire. Ingredients locally-sourced. Staff was friendly and helpful. Easy parking. Beautiful area with lots of hiking and scenery close by.

In light of the wide selection the restaurant has on offer, the breakfast was too simple. The town centre area can get surprisingly busy for an otherwise quiet mountain region.

The owner and staff very attentive and extremely helpful. The location is amazing, the food is very good. I would thoroughly recommend it.

The road to get there is a bit steep and a big part is unpaved, your best comfortable driving is with a 4x4 or an SUV ..

Everything. The location was perfect. The guesthouse was new and everything was sparkling clean. Cozy rooms with wooden ceilings in the middle of the mountains by the river. You can hear the river sound from your balcony.

Lucia, Angelo, and the rest of the staff were simply terrific! Helpful, funny, sweet, and generous - we felt like royalty with the lavished attention they bestowed. This small village recently renovated their buildings, a cluster of charming structures with grey and tan stone. The bathrooms, windows, and floors are all modern but installed in refurbished old buildings. The views from the terrace are outstanding. Nearby steps take you down to the crystal clear river with boulders bigger than cars and covered in moss and ferns. The food is also exceptional - they roasted a lamb one day on the spit and we had fresh trout from the river. Don't miss the "pancakes" (actually balls of fried dough) with local honey and jams and cheese. The rooms are modern with balconies (we had two rooms, one facing the street with shared balcony and one facing the river with private balcony and river view); the linens and beds are all top notch. From the photo, we thought we were staying in an older yellow guesthouse but were pleasantly surprised to be at their new location on the river.

The only thing which i missed a bit was a TV. But its also nice to just enjoy the beautiful nature and a silent night in albanians mountains near the border to montenegro

Very nice and super clean guesthouse. It’s run by an extremely friendly and welcoming family. The breakfast is the best we had in Albania. Highly recommended base for hiking in the nearby valleys.
