The staff was really nice to us. They were flexible with the check-out time so we could have a chill morning on the day of leaving. We also tried the restaurant that belongs to the hotel. The seafood was amazing and they had several surprises on the house (local dessert, appetizer).

There is not much on the beach so bring your own towels and chairs if the goal is sunbathing.

The room was OK and always cleaned up. Breakfast is served like in a restaurant (coffee, water, juice) and a plate with sausages, chees, eggs and vegetables, great taste. Right in front of the hotel in a nice view of the sand beach and sea. Parking spot near the hotel - but no private parking. We were staying here before the holiday season in the last week of April.

When we arrived at our destination, we couldn't find reception so we asked in the restaurant. The reception is not even marked (the back door of the hotel). In our room WIFI didn't work, so we ask about it. Staff told us that WIFI currently doesn't work. They gave us WIFI from the restaurant which didn't reach our room. The first night we slept poorly because the guest came in the middle of the night (they were extremely loud). The mattress and pillows are very hard, no trashbin in the room. Water in the bathroom has very low pressure and also the doors in the bathroom are of glass so it's not possible to have complete dark in the room.

The Sea and beach was not clean and was full of trash which Is not the hotel's problem.

The staff was very nice and helpfull. The included breakfast was great, and also, everything we've eaten a la carte at the property's restaurant. Everything was wery clean, spotless.

The sea floor was dirty, we could see some soda cans, different packages.. The water also contained some unidentified black powder at the shore, maybe it has something to do with the harbour.

Breakfast was simple but ok.

We booked a triple room with a sea view on Booking.com, we got a triple room with a partial sea view. The hotel stated that it was Booking.com's mistake and we didn't get the right room / any good ones. The staff was not particularly helpful anyway and for example you had to pay for coffee separately with breakfast. The hotel's beach was quite rough (like the entire Dürres beach) and the location was quite challenging to find. The room equipment stated on the Booking.com website was not correct.

Very clean and spacious room, fridge and air conditioner. Free sunbathing beds and umbrellas at the beach.

Breakfast is very fulfilling, fresh, but you cannot change it. It’s standard for each day. You might be bored after couple of days or if you have specific diet.

We stayed only for a night at Hotel Tirona (it means Tirana in Gheg Albanian). Their staff (maybe owners) were waiting for us at midnight and they were more than hospitable. Nice breakfast is included in the price. Location is OK, beach is very near but Albanian Adriatic is not the best sea that I have seen in my life. However, you can jump from your terrace to the beach. You will better manage in Hotel Tirona and Durres whatsoever with Italian than English. All in all, we had a pleasuble time at Hotel Tirona.

Location is excellent, staff great, really enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

Everything fine, personel is very kindly and friendly, breakfast was good, verry clean room with a seaview..... Genneraly, best value for that money.

Location to the beach but not to downtown

Never deserve a 4 star hotel

Hotel room and bathroom was clean every day. Staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was with large food portions although every day was same main dish. Hotel location is great. We had parasols and sunbeds reserved as hotel guests.

We arrived very late because of a delayed ferry but the night guard let us in and showed us to our room. The staff had sent us everything we needed to know before arrival so that we could settle in comfortably without worrying. The room was clean and the beds very comfortable except for the very pillow we thought was too hard. I’m the morning we were greeted with an incredibly generous breakfast and then made use of the beach just in front. We loved it! The staff is very friendly, helpful and accommodating.

Excellent, rich breakfast, very good wifi, room with a sea view, nice staff, very attentive to meet expectations. They change the sheets every 2 days and the towels daily. The room and the hotel are very clean. The sunbeds and umbrellas are included. The location is very good, seafront, at the beginning of the beach area and 20-25 minutes away from the center. Lots of nice, well-priced restaurants in the area, also the hotel restaurant is good.

There's no curtain for the shower, or a shower cabin.

Location is excellent if you want to stay near to the sea and beach, not too far from downtown. In this area, there are many hotels and restaurants, but hotel Tirona is still cozy, not noisy. It is situated 1min from the exit from the motorway from Tirana (the way to airport couldn´t be easier!), very easy to find. Restaurant cooks very well and I really enjoyed the breakfasts! As the location is almost at the end of beach promenade, it is not that noisy at the beach as in the center. Parking was easy in front of the hotel. Hotel is clean, we only stayed 2 night, but get new towels each morning and also soaps and washing gels, our room was cleaned accordingly. We had the sea view from our room. We enjoyed our stay here.

I only miss the courtain in bathroom.

Very nice hotel, beach, restaurant and stuff. Everything is best and guests are on the first place. I recommend this hotel to everyone.
