Amazing views of Amalfi
Steep slope to get to hotel

Location, excellent breakfast, stunning views
9.0
Excellent location, a short walk from the center but away from the crowds. The building itself is quite nice and has plenty of terrace space, excellent to enjoy the sun and a view of Amalfi during breakfast or tea. The breakfast buffet was good and offered both savory and sweet options (cereals, pastries, bread, butter & jam, cheese, eggs and other savory things). Cozy room with spacious bathroom and pretty decor, relaxing and quiet both day and night. Staff was very friendly and polite.

The location
We ordered a room with a view to the sea
but they weren’t like this
they were nice
there was a shared balcony with great view but not from the room

One of the best places to stay in a location like amalfi. It's a brilliant place, gives a complete experience of staying in an old town, very scenic.
Special mention of a tunnel followed by a lift built to teach the hotel lobby area. Outstanding view of the village and sea.
The host was very helpful in giving us guidance on how to spend our time.
It's quite a steep walk to the hotel from the main square. Plus there is no help to carry your own luggage
While this is termed as a hotel, it's more like an apartment. You have to do everything yourself.
We were leaving early in morning and didn't get breakfast which is usually arranged on a take away basis by hotels

Great views at the panoramic terrace. Good location right in the town. Awesome breakfast.
I expected much better communication before and during the stay.

The setting is absolutely spectacular, couldn't ask for a nicer view. Excellent value for money.

Breakfast was reasonable and plentiful. Staff were friendly. Villa was very quiet and tranquil.
Although the website mentioned a lift, it was not specific about the 200 steps up the steep mountainside. As someone with claustrophobia this was very problematic. The taxi would not take us to the apartment because of traffic problems in Amalfi (the apartment is at the top of a long hill). This caused all sorts of problems with luggage. Not the fault of the hotel, but it made for a stressful start.

It had good beds and nice shower
Other rooms had bathtub or threy were more roomy, with better view. Also we didn't had enough bathrobes and they were no shampoos in the room.

The view.
Air con worked.
Waitress pleasant
Location through thronging streets with car a nightmare.
Many steps before lift.
Cost was outlandish.
Coffee weak.

Great view and property. Breakfast preparer was super sweet and a good vibe to wake up to everyday. She made us many excellent coffees.
The manager seemed to be not so interested which is too bad.

The location was ok, in the centre of Amalfi. The view was also OK
I did not like the maintenance of the hotel. It was really poor. The room was nice but it seems not having been renovated since the day the hotel was open. Plastic flower, old furniture and fabrics, lake of details. All the things on the room were decadent. The breakfast also was very poor. The lady serving the breakfast did not look really clean either.

View of balcony really good
In my opinion it is not clean. Airconditioner was not working, staff was not kind.

View, breakfast, location (10 min by feet to the beach), very nice staff, quiet, clean room, lift to get to the house
nothing : everything was perfect !

The sea view from the Hotel was amazing.
The passage way from the gate to the lift is not well lit which is a bit scary in the dark. Breakfast was disappointing yoghurt was served in a bowl not individual yogurt pot scrambled egg was dry and tasteless. Host not helpful with directions to the hotel or restaurant recommendations. most disappointing thing was there is no Wi-Fi at the property

Very good, wonderful experience

Nice views, friendly and attentive staff, great location for walking into Amalfi.
Room was smaller than it looked in photos and felt a bit dated (it was called a junior suite but felt more like a standard room). The shower was placed under an angled ceiling which made showering difficult, and there was no balcony as advertised with the listing, just a shared terrace.

i liked the view of the hotel & where it is located - perfect to stay some days…
way too expensive for what you get… whole interior is rather used but ok; in Amalfi you can probably ask for such prices even in October

The villa’s location is good and it has a beautiful view, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful, the room is spacious and clean.
In my opinion they could do better for the breakfast.

They are the nicest hosts one could have in Italy! Salvatore contacted me via WhatsApp as soon as I made the booking, to check if I needed anything and showed perfect flexibility regarding the check-in and check-out time.
The highlight of the stay is the garden and the terrace. The view is spectacular and it looks even better than any picture.
I spent around 2 hours each evening on the terrace, contemplating the city from above! The view is amazing!
The rooms are bigger than I imagined and the staff does the impeccable cleaning daily. I had the feeling that they do their best to accommodate their guests and make the stay the best possible.
Not the ultimate luxury, but the best of Amalfi at an amazing price.
About the breakfast: there are a lot of options, from eggs to bread and butter, cereals, milk, etc. that one can chose from.
This is not a negative comment, but a tip for other tourists.
In case you book the property, please note that the upper rooms( with the inclined ceiling that you see in pictures), also have a small private balcony for dinner.
For best experience, I suggest you call the property in advance and ask for the availability of one of these rooms. I was lucky to have the blue room for one night and it’s spectacular.
However, all guests can enjoy their night out in the top garden and main balcony and on the central terrace as well.
