Die Lage ist einfach der Wahnsinn! Der Blick über die kleine ruhige Bucht von Ligaria ist traumhaft! Die Zufahrt zum Haus war zwar ein kleines Abenteuer, aber die Aussicht lässt einen das schnell vergessen! Die Vermieter waren sehr unkompliziert und sehr freundlich. Während des Aufenthalts gab es housekeeping, mit neuen Handtüchern, Bettwäsche und Müllentsorgung, was den Aufenthalt noch entspannter und unkomplizierter gemacht hat. Auch zum Pool reinigen kam jemand. Die Zimmer waren von der Größe und Ausstattung sehr unterschiedlich, daher muss man sich gut einigen, gerade bei einer Gruppenreise. Das Haus ist auf drei Ebenen aufgeteilt! Im oberen Stock befindet sich der Eingangsbereich, die drei Schlafzimmer (2 davon mit traumhaften Meerblick) und ein kleineres Bad. Eine Etage tiefer findet man den Wohnbereich mit Wohn-, Esszimmer und Küche. Hier gibt es auch ein größere Badezimmer (mit Waschmaschine). Zudem ist hier die große Außenterasse, über die man über wenige Stufen zum Pool mit zahlreichen Liegemöglichkeiten auf der 3. Ebene gelangt. Die Treppe führt weiter nach unten, sodass man in wenigen Minuten Strand, Supermarkt und schöne Restaurants erreichen kann.

Die Ausstattung und die Badezimmer sind ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, dennoch akzeptabel.

The view from the villa was lovely and you could hear the sea.

The property from the exterior and it's location high up overlooking the sea was impressive, however the interior was extremely dated and worn out. Beds were uncomfortable and the decor left a lot to be desired. Very small, pokey and dated bathrooms and thin very squeaky floors. It is definitely in need of a full refurbishment and so we spent most of our time out or by the pool area. The pool is also not heated and so was very cold. We had expected more considered the cost. Limited kitchen equipment, no kettle (so we had to buy one), no toaster, no microwave. We just found ourselves not wanting to spend much time at the villa, despite the hosts/owners being so lovely, we would not stay again.

Beautiful villa with a beautiful view. The location is great. The swimming pool and the sun beds are exactly like on the pictures. Each time I was looking out of the window I couldn't believe we were really staying there :) The description is 100% matching the reality. We had barbecue facilities and everything we might need, such as towels and utensils. Aircos were working fine and were in almost every room. Hosts are very nice and friendly. We could always contact them and have all our questions answered. The beach is amazing, very clean and is very close.

The floors on the second floor were making a lot of noize

The owners were very helpful and always responsive to our requests. They did their best to make our stay as convenient as possible! The location at the beach is amazing with a private pool to relax and chill. We highly enjoyed our stay and would book it again. There is many plants on the premise where you can pickup your breakfast, like limes, pomegranates or grapes. With plenty of space we never ran out of places to spend our time, even though we were five people living there. Also there is plenty of space to park your car (we had a large one with 9 seats) and WiFi is available, too (even though booking says it’s not ;)). We really loved the view from the table outside where we had breakfast every morning. Convince yourself and check it our. You won’t regret!

This is not a recently built 5 star hotel area. That’s not bad at all but should be considered if one prefers a 21st century hotel look-and-feel. Some of the dishes were not cleaned properly, so we had to do it ourselves.

I booked the Villa just for one night but I wish I could stay more. A very beautiful beachfront villa , where you can enjoy the view and the pool is private.The bay of Ligaria is magnificent too and just 15 minutes from Heraklion. George the owner was very helpful too.
