There is no air conditioning and it was hot. The bathroom area is small, and the washing machine is old, and there are no instructions on how to use it

Apartment was full of smoker stench, it is meant to be smoke free. Sofas and carpets were stained and dirty. Cooker top was filthy had not been cleaned properly. Curtains were yellow with dirt and smoke. 2 external access windows had no locks. Door to bedroom could not be shut as handle broken and would be locked in. Door to bathroom handle broken. Handle broken on dishwasher so could not easily open. Complained but it took 2 full days for a response and then only an email to say a Quality Mgr and cleaner would be sent. Mgr arrived made promises all of which they broke the next day when not turning up for scheduled mtg sending a cleaner 1.5 hours after the mtg time expired. Only solution was 1 neutrogena odour ball for the sitting room smell. No compensation was offered, Joshua in head office simply stopped communicating. Truly awful and unprofessional, not to be trusted. Chose another provider.

No dedicated workspace

Location was great

Sub floor heating not ideal, we learnt by chance there was a timer on the hot water….we got home after 10pm one night and had no hot water. It took over and hour to learn the system and rectify to get warm water. Paying what we do, we expect hot water all the time. Beds not comfortable, cheap spring mattress. Noisy unit, very loud tenants kept us up at night

The location was great, close to the train station and just a few minutes walking to the University of Surrey. I've stayed at the apartment for my graduation and I was so satisfied with it. The apartments were clean and fully equipped. Lastly I want to mention the availability of the host who replied promptly to all of my messages, one of my friend forgot an electric shaver at the apartment and they replaced it for him, shipping it directly to Italy. I would recommend this apartment for anyone who is coming to Guildford with family and friends.

The guide sent to find the keys and which one to use for opening the doors needs un update, as some of the coloured caps have changed. The wifi password and name are not the ones sent to your email but the ones you will find on the back of the routers in the apartments.
