I’ve been visiting here for nearly 10 years. The facelift is great. It’s such a beautiful location, it’s nice to see some care go into maintaining the property. Friendly staff.

The fireplaces are no longer operable :’( This was a HUGE draw for me. My idea of a perfect evening on the Oregon coast the fireplace going with the sounds of crashing waves… so many amazing cozy evenings. Please consider bringing them back. It’s why I always chose adobe!

the room dirty no radio no clock patio dirty deck dirty and had rust. this is room for dogs ice machine not working. my wife is mexican lady at desk did not lick her. they said it hade elavator did have one.

I loved the kiddie pool and the hot tub.

We brought a small dog and learned that we had to stay in the pet building outside the main hotel. The price was almost 300 dollars for two beds . It was horrible. It smelled like dirty socks and BO the entire time. My white socks were dirty from the floor. It was not worth the almost 300 dollars.

It was exactly what was advertised. I could have paid more to stay somewhere nicer, but I didn’t want to so I can’t complain about getting exactly what was advertised. Great views, beautiful sunset over here ocean.

Remodel and new menu is a big improvement over the last 30 years that I've stay there.

Dirty, fire place didn’t work,didn’t get clean towels or coffee replenish in room. Outdated property.

No free breakfast. At a resort you would expect free breakfast for the cost of the room. Since this location has a restaurant the breakfast is not free. Ebb tide/ sailor Jacks are cheaper and have free breakfast.

The dam fire alarm going off at 10pm for 30mn. Woke up my children. They were so scared they didn’t go to sleep for a few hours after. Had to keep reassuring them that they wouldnt burn in their sleep.

Didn't eat breakfast here. Loved the trails behind the hotel, close to the ocean.

The room was like staying in a prison. Just a blank wall, very stark and bare. Some of the fixtures were broken.

A like the upgrades the new owners are doing.

Never time when a bunch of kids weren’t in the pool, even in the morning. I wish there could be a 9-11 pm, adults only time.

I have family in YACHATS. I had walked by a lot. Until now, never stayed on the property. It was excellent by any measure. I would definitely stay again. Awesome.

Very nice room with a beautiful view of the ocean. The staff is very nice and helpful. Tanya and Candy are amazing! They are both so friendly and welcoming.

It was in a good location.

First off, they gave us the keys to our room. And when we opened our room the tv was on the bed was unmade and the bathroom was a disaster so we went back down to the makeshift office and told them and the two receptionist ladies bickered back and forth about how they hated the house keeping staff and then said to me “well I got you a king size bed so there is that” I was not impressed. Then we checked into the other room that they decided to get for us which took an additional 20 minutes and everything looked okay, it was truly just a DIY hotel. They don’t have headboards it’s just painted on the wall to make it look like there is one. The door knobs on the doors aren’t fully painted, the bathtubs are painted over. The tv wires were sticking out of the wall, all night long you could hear noises through the walls. The common areas were not well kept, the smoke detector on the main floor was barely hanging onto the ceiling with duct tape. It was honestly a sketchy stay and I was scared to sleep. We slept with a chair under the door because there wasn’t a secondary latch for the doors.

Shabby, run down. The physical plant is in dire need of upgrading and maintenance. Old frayed carpet, smell of cigarette smoke, sliding glass door took two healthy adults to open.

Beautiful location, the ocean is lighted at night. They are updating the property during winter season.

Room was large. View was great. Tonya was very helpful. Bed was comfortable. Pool and hot tub were clean and good temperatures. WiFi worked.

Fireplace didn’t work. Should be a way of cleaning windows. Room was not ready when we arrived, but Tonya upgraded us. Breakfast was poor. TV had no way to stream internet. No good room service for towels, clean glasses, extra soap. Staff seemed dressed casually/unprofessionally and most had lackluster attitude.

I love the location and the room was nice.

I did not like driving up and seeing old mattresses thrown out by dumpsters, all askew. Taking into consideration the front area is under construction which was not mentioned when I made the reservation. I did not appreciate upon our arrival waiting for the front desk clerk to check us in, until she finished her unrelated conversation with another employee. She made us feel that we were a bother, rather than welcoming us! The refrigerator in our room was not cleaned out before our arrival and I had to clean it out!!! We requested a Ocean View room for that reason, but the windows were so dirty that we could not appreciate the view, but from one part of the window. My husband asked one of the maids for window cleaner so that he could clean the window, her response was, they don't clean windows! This is my 4th stay with the Adobe and my WORST!

It has a good location right on the beach.

Nothing worked. The hotel is under construction and they didn’t tell us. The restaurant was not up and running. They booked us in a room where the TV didn’t work and they knew it didn’t work. The ice machine was out of order and the door to our building didn’t lock because it was broken. We moved on from that and went to use the hot tub/sauna, that was also out of order. Later in the night our heater caught on fire and stopped working. It was only after that that they lived us to another room that again didn’t have a working tv and they knew that. Come to find out they had plenty of other rooms available that were working but still chose to put us in a non working room. When we went to check out we told the front desk receptionist and she was very polite and said she would refund us on part of our stay all we would have to do is call booking.com, which we did. After that no follow up from Adobe.

Lounge and restaurant staff were exceptional. The meals were outstanding. Front desk staff were amazing.

Using Booking.com was a nightmare and will never use it again.

I loved the excellent view and sound of the ocean crashing right outside my windows. The jacuzzi tub was nice, but I mainly used it as a soaking tub since jets didn't have much power. But it didn't detract from experience. The room was spacious and clean. Neighbors not heard through walls. It's really walking distance to most places along mainstreet in Yachats, and they have nice trail along the bluffs.

All in all, there are no real complaints. If I had to mention one, it would be the strong Marijuana smell in the hallway. It went away on my last day.

Nothing in room for coffee. No cream, milk, sugar, stir sticks etc. Room not totally vacuumed. Someone’s sunglasses were under the table. A hair was left in tub; gross!

We have been here before about three years ago and loved the area and the facility was decent, we were in the main Hotel with elevators which I need because I am disabled. We came for my Birthday week and picked our room off of booking.com., because it had a fireplace and deck, they lied!

Everything could have and should have been better! First of all, our room was NOT in the main hotel but off to the back with stairs, no elevator, this was very difficult! Upon entering to room, right away we saw a disgusting room with no fireplace and the deck did not have a full ocean view, I was very upset! The walls, doors and counter tops in what I guess they call the kitchen, was all ripped apart in tatters, like people’s dogs were left in there to chew anything they could get their teeth into! And NOT just one dog, but several times for years! So disgusted! I immediately went to the front office to complain and say this wasn’t the room we picked by a long shot, they said they were booked and we could not change, so for four long days and nights there, we suffered through and just tried to stay out of our supposed oasis! The final blow was the morning before we left, we went to breakfast at your restaurant and we’re treated like a bother, the waitress was rude and condescending to us and the food was fair at best and the tab was overblown! When we stayed here a couple of years back, none of this was the case, so, needless to say, if we do come back to the area, which we will because we loved the area, we will NOT be staying there and will also be cautioning friends and family about their choice to possible stay there!
