Best holiday place I and my sister have ever stayed. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner - her customer service is exceptional. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds and furniture, quiet location with amazing views. Lovely decor, and all up to date.

Nothing to do with the cottage itself. However, Inverness bus transport is horrendous at the moment. Although buses to and from the town centre stopped outside the cottage, they are often cancelled without notice. We just called the local taxi service who were excellent, well priced and very friendly

tangle Tower is a very interesting place right on the water. it’s just far enough from the city center to feel like you are out in the country but only 5 minutes away. It is a large property with lawn and a detached garage and lots of off street parking. there were four of us with plenty of room to spread out, even a tower living room with a huge picture window. the one bathroom serviced the whole house but it was enormous! we very much enjoyed our stay!

Fantastic view to rear of property of Beauly Firth. Great for bird spotting. Decor stylish and themed to history of the property. Beds very comfortable.

Found the heating difficult to operate to a comfortable temperature. Long walk into town through a non scenic area.

Located right on the shore of the Beauly Firth, Tangle Tower is perfect for a quiet break but within easy walking distance of Inverness City centre. We saw otters and seals from the patio and porpoises and common dolphins were also in the area. The house is beautifully decorated, and the lemon cake that was waiting for us when we arrived deserves a special mention.

We loved everything about Tangle Tower. The view was amazing, the lovely welcome pack on arrival was a nice touch. The way it’s decorated, attention to detail, very welcoming, very cosy, very private. The host Cherry was very helpful and informative on everything, nothing was to much trouble for her, she gets straight back to you if you contact her. We have had a wonderful stay and loved every minute of it. Thank you for making our holiday a memorable one. Would definitely return back to Scotland and Tangle Tower.

Only 30 minutes walk from the shops. Quiet location on the shore. House is lovely and the beds very comfy. Superb upstairs viewing room which my teenage son had as a bedroom, using the sofa bed. Everything was there and the host was easily contactable and very friendly. Would recommend if you like something a bit different. Brilliant for us, far better than staying in a hotel 👍🏻

I don’t think there was anything to dislike

The property has the best views of any property I can remember. The beds and linens were excellent and the location was lovely and quiet. The property had options for sleeping and sightseeing it was a very short trip into the centre of Inverness. The local wildlife makes it a must if you enjoy birdwatching and otter spotting.

Leaving. If I was pushed the bath tap had the noisiest air lock ever so we gave up on the bath. The shower made up for this. I let the property owner know about this.

Everything was perfect first class accommodation . very good communication with the host before during and after our stay .

Fantastic views over the water. Lovely character to the building. Everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Host even had Christmas decorations up for us (very nice touch).

The whole stay was just perfect , we came to celebrate my husbands 50 th birthday with our baby grandson daughter and son in law

Lovely place. Great views and location was handy for town centre and for touring centre. Best holiday rental we have had and we have had many. Would definitely recommend. We will definitely be back.

Only one toilet.

What a place! Fabulous views and lots of lovely thoughtful touches. The upper floor is a great place to watch the wildlife. A great base for exploring the area. We loved it and have already booked again.

An extra toilet would be useful but apart from that nothing!

The whole experience.

It's our 2nd time staying at tangle tower and while we love it, my only criticism is that the property could do with a second toilet, only having one could become a bit of an issue if the property was booked by a large family. A bigger bed in the master bedroom could be a plus too (it's a standard double bed) but that is just my personal preference.

The views from the property are amazing, it felt like a destination in itself.

Cherry was an exceptional host ! Not only was the property perfect, but she went out of her way to assist us. We sadly left a precious item behind and I thought I'd never see it again ! But Cherry helped us locate it and posted it back to us, thank you so much !

This is an amazing property in many ways. Lots of history and great views of Moray Firth. Well appointed, everything you could need for a relaxing stay. Lounge of top floor has wonderful views and very comfortable. Cherry is an excellent host.
