We loved staying in the kiva! It's well done and was in a great location for us. We would definitely stay there again.

We loved this unique property in a quiet secluded setting! The interior was clean comfortable and well furnished. Bathroom includes all updated fixtures. We enjoyed the peaceful outside seating areas and really didn’t want to leave the property! We highly recommend especially if you want to just relax and enjoy!

Comfortable stay in an interesting property!

Really great little place. It was a perfect private crash pad for me and my spouse while visiting friends in the area. Comfortable, clean, appointed nicely with conveniences- comfy bedding, big fluffy towels and all of the appliances needful for a weekend getaway. I’m only sorry we couldn’t have stayed longer and enjoyed more time in the gorgeous scenery or taken a moment under all those stars. Next time!

Amazing place to stay! My husband and I came from Utah to love the Arizona weather and get away! This place is a little bungalow built with love and hospitality! Everything you need! The sofa bed is what we chose to sleep on after sleeping on the loft bed! We were able to play Netflix and prime off chrome cast and it al worked out perfectly! Thank you so much for allowing us the visit!

Great and fast commutation was awesome. We loved the unusual spot and house (well we are from the PNW and not use to the dessert). The outdoor spaces were we spent most of our time after dinner. The views of the hot-air balloons was a pleasant surprise. Oh..... the art in the yard is fun!

This was the coolest place I have ever stayed! The kiva was unique and comfortable. The neighborhood was nice with wildlife and cacti galore. I would definitely return!

This place was perfect - cozy, clean, quiet, and still close to everything you would need. Sarah was great to communicate with. We'll definitely come back for a hopefully longer stay if we are in the area again. Thanks!

Excellent, except the hideabed should probably be replaced with something more comfortable. Otherwise everything was great !

Everything was great except shower water never got hot, I Hate cold showers.

This is a small space, but it feels totally spacious. We had a lovely time in this well-designed, well-appointed, comfortable kiva celebrating my daughter's birthday. Sarah was communicative and flexible. Check-in could not have been easier.

On first arrival, we knew it was going to be special. Just a great, different experience. We loved looking out the windows and being below ground level. Very easy to get to and to get around the area. I ended up sleeping on the pull out couch and it was probably the best sleeper sofa I have slept on. Usually there's a bar that digs right in your back, but this didn't have it. I slept quite well. The kitchen had all utensils and wine opener. The house was very clean. we didn't have time to try out the fire pit. Very quite neighborhood. We would recommend this place to our friends.

Cozy and unique place to relax. Sarah was great to work with. The yard was full of blooms. Great view out of the loft window especially at dawn!

Really enjoyed our week at the 'Kiva' . Excellent location in a desert setting with lots of wide open spaces for exploring. Enjoyed the patios, fire pit , BBQ and beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Thanks so much for sharing with us.......it was a great experience. Robin & Kirk Ontario, Canada

My fiance and I loved this place and plan to return soon. I rented it so we both could just unplug and be with each other and this place was it. I adore Sarah who was very pleasant and helpful, her place was very clean and accommodating. This was my first rental and honestly I don't think I'll look for others, that's how much we loved her place. Thank you Sarah for sharing it with us.

Great little house, great property. When we weren't out exploring in Tonto National Forest or walking around up in Carefree we were parked at the patio table by the arroyo watching a steady stream of hares, owls, quail and lizards. The house itself is in great shape with wonderful appliances & furnishings. Just right for a couples get away.

This place fit our needs perfectly. My wife and I were visiting my sister and her family in the Cave Creek area and this place was minutes away! Sarah is very easy to work with. When we arrived, the Kiva was ready and clean. We slept in the loft. There is a fan up there so it keeps it cool while your sleeping. Very quiet location. We had coffee on the patio in the morning...a drink on the patio in the evening...just beautiful! Highly recommend. We will stay here again.

The property was exactly as it was described to me and Sarah was extremely nice and knowledgeable about the area. Her suggestions for things to do were very helpful.....if I ever return to this area, I would not hesitate to stay there..... John Schorsch satisfied customer

We chose this VRBO because it was very close to some friends we were visiting. We couldn't have been happier with our choice. It was very clean and quiet. Owner was easy to work with and the entire transaction was smooth! Thank you again, Sarah!

Great size for an individual or a couple. Very clean and well-appointed.

If you love the desert, if you love birds, if you love sunrises at eye level out of your loft window, well this magical Kiva will completely charm you. Aside from the overall uniqueness of a Kiva, the decor is very artful, rustic and modern. It appears to be newly remodeled. The host keeps it immaculate, has well-stocked the kitchen and provides top-shelf linens. If my husband and I hadn't had events planned, we would have been content to sit on the "patio" that is offset from the Kiva for most of the day since the weather was cool. We were amazed at the variety of birds and other critters including a bobcat! Best thing that happened was the sighting of a bright red tanager. Only caveat is that unless you want to sleep on the fold out couch, you need to be prepared to climb a steep ladder to access the loft. (We loved that part!) A/C worked great, there was a fan in the loft and a great reading lamp. The mattress was super comfortable. All good! And Lord willing, we'll be back very often.
