This place was stunning and spacious. Everyone had somewhere to sleep and stretch out. With 4 kids, it was wonderful to have a little room. The views are wonderful.

My family and I stayed at this penthouse for 3 days/3 nights. Overall we had a good experience - here's a list of the pros/cons. Pros: 1. View 2. Location (quick access to pool and beach) 3. Amenities (full kitchen, TVs in all rooms, pool/beach toys for kids) 4. Very spacious (fit all 9 of us comfortably) 5. Quiet (didn't hear outside noise or other renters) 6. Parking Garage 7. Check-in/Check-out was hassle free Cons: 1. Cleanliness could be much better. For example, the sinks were very grimy with brown stains around the drain that can be scrubbed off with effort and regular maintenance. We also had to clean the washing machine since the rubber ring around the door was very grimy. We purchased dishwasher cleaner since there was a smell in the dishwasher. 2. General upkeep is poor - see list below. a. The shower handle was coming off. b. The hand towel holder was not properly attached to the wall. c. A/C should be replaced. If I'm renting a 'luxury penthouse', it shouldn't come with instructions to reset the A/C when it stops running. Please note that we followed instructions not to set the A/C below 68 degrees. d. Batteries in the remotes for the light/fan need to be replaced. We couldn't have the fan on with the light off since we could only use the switch and not the remote. e. The maintenance employee indicated that one of the shades for the window was broken and has yet to be fixed. We were unable to raise or lower one of the shades by the patio facing the beach. f. We were unable and unwilling to use the tub since it didn't drain properly, and the water that pooled was tinted yellow. g. Small details like recaulking or painting marks near the bathroom mirrors so that it looks fresh and clean could help. It would have been helpful to have a little pamphlet of amenities (e.g., hours/services/location of the spa), shops, and restaurants nearby - but not having this is not a dealbreaker. I would also suggest posting an emergency escape poster (just in case).

Size of the condo and view were great. However, the grill was broken and the blinds in one of the windows in the living room was broken as well. The ac was suspect throughout the day and had problems blowing cold air. Remote controls for the lights were not all working and lightbulbs were burned out in many rooms. For the daily cost of this condo, these items should all be checked and fixed before the tenant arrives. This appears to be a property management issue.

This place is redic. Super clean, super high end. Definitely a rental if you want to impress someone.

Dining room table was uncomfortable. Made game playing difficult. Couches were uncomfortable and much of the bedroom furniture needed repair. The one chair in the living room broke when one of our group sat on it - leaving just the couches - which need to be re-stuffed. The bedrooms do not suit 8 adults comfortably. The one bedroom had a trundle bed and so one of our adults actually slept in a twin bed that was in one of the suites - with a couple. The bathroom situation was great! Although the shower in the room facing the ocean took a while to get hot water. I know people don't like signage - but it would have been nice to know how things worked ... like the tv and the air and coffee maker etc.

We have been staying on the island for years . First time renting the 30th floor penthouse. View and accomodations are amazing. Will return later in the year.

I didnt expect for the aparment to be as good as the pictures, but it was even better, the view is amazing, the rooms are clean, the pool is relaxing and over all I really liked the way of everything.

Loved the penthouse view and amenities of property. However, we paid top dollar for the rental. Problems. Dishwasher. Door has broken safety spring. When you pull the door, it falls abruptly and could cause injury to adult or child. Wheels missing off of the lower dish tray. Tray falls out of dishwasher when pulled out. Ice maker/water dispenser did not work. Dresser in single bed bedroom lamination coming off. Cord to raise right hand side blind came loose.

We had an amazing time! The condo was very nice and clean! It was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The staff was super friendly. We will definitely stay there again!

Unbelievably great penthouse on the 30th floor at the highest building on the island. Check in process was smooth and fast, we filled out a guest form, received bracelets and 3 key cards. The place was sparkly clean with everything a family needs for the stay. Pool area is huge with two hot tubs, on the water bar, and kids splash zone. Access to the beach just outside the pool. Garage has EV chargers: Tesla and J1772. It was one the best experience during our trip! Highly recommended.

Security treated us like we were criminals. Very disrespectful and bias. I don't wish that I'm everyone else. I Will not stay here anymore.

We had two couples with us - total 6 people. My husband and I have stayed at Sapphire property for years; therefore, we told our friends how awesome it is and knew the penthouse would be ultimate experience. There was minimal dishes and only 4 wine glasses for a condo that sleeps 10? The TV would not work....we had maintenance come up 4 or maybe 5 times to help. Subscription had expired so they had to deal with that. (My girlfriend has Amazon subscription so we manipulated around to see a movie!!). There were NO beach towels. I went to concierge and she said “your condo has them”......well it didn’t. Biggest pain was we all had to run the hot water in every room to get hot water for showers or wash dishes/in kitchen. They told us no one had stayed up there so it takes awhile to get hot water! We’ve stayed in high-rises that have hot water immediately. We were disappointed and embarrassed.

The pool was amazing! The bar next door served yummy cold drinks. Whew! The long island iced tea packed a punch. Highly recommend this condo. It's true what they say about the water, but nothing to get your undies in a bunch. Just run a faucet for a bit, have a drink, and then hot water for all. You are 30 floors up, after all. We just timed it so we took showers around or at the same time. No worries.

We had a girls weekend in the condo and loved the view and the living area. We did have issues with getting hot water for showers and dirty dishes in the condo when we checked in. The management company did a good job of trying to help us fix the issue.

We had a great time. The property needs to check supplies in kitchen. No kitchen towels. With eight people I was cooking and washing quite a few dishes. Overall great room

That condo was not worth the price. Had to wait 20 min for hot water. Management had to reset the a/c every day. It would quit working every day. The bottom sheets on bed to small and constantly coming off during the night.

Great place to stay.

We loved our stay at this property - plenty of room for us to spread out and it has the best view in Padre. Only negative is the water in the master bathroom took forever to get hot and actually never did a few times. I'm sure that can be resolved soon and we will definitely be back!

There were a few issues with the penthouse. The bathroom outside the room with twin beds did not flush. The shower in the single bedroom leaked horribly. The wind howled thru the sliding doors in the Master Suite, had to stuff paper towels in the track. The dishwasher didn’t want to start, after several attempts we got it started. The bottom rack slides out to the floor. The oven door nearly fell off. The refrigerator ice maker barely functioned. Sad that this amazing property isn’t better maintained.
