Undoubtedly one of the best places where we have ever stayed. Clean, comfortable, excellent facilities and interior design at a very good standard and even chocolates on arrival. Large TV, sofas and a good size fridge freezer. Thank you for providing us such a lovely place. Oh yes, parking was free and right in front of the apartment

It was sort of clean on the inside. BUT: The owner audaciously calls this place "castle inn", "dilapidated" in is more suited. The check in info informed us that we are most welcome to use the lovely communal garden. Lovely? A garden? In the booking website description you could read that there is a sea view terrace. There is no sea view terrace - there is a small uninviting landing on top of the stairs. The lock box lid collapsed on my toe at check in. It smelled very weirdly inside despite that it appeared clean. The kitchen window was so smeared with bird poo and dust that you could not see anything. The host told us (only a day before we came) that there is a construction next door and apologised not providing any details about it. There is a scaffolding attached to the master bedroom and the workers will literally be working inches from you. If we knew we would not have stayed but that's exactly what they aimed. I communicated all that, no response came. Not only that but he even sent me a standard message to give him a 5 star review?? The price for one night was 470 EUR in high season, this is a hostel and not worth the money at all. Inside seemed to be that barely anything worked - small and bigger problems everywhere you look. Just an example - for a place claiming that they can host 6, they had only two small garbage cans the size you would put in a toilette. Lights not working, cabinets not being able to open, just badly managed and maintained with no love or care for the customers

This was our first place to stay in in Iceland, and it really set the bar by how lovely, beautiful, clean and convenient it was. The place itself was impeccable, charming and super tidy and clean. The beds were so comfortable and 4 of us felt so at home we didn’t want to leave the following day. Minutes away from the ocean with fantastic views. An excellent location in Keflavik, close to the airport. 10/10

Property is near blue lagoon and the lava field. But most of all its 8mins to the airport and very convenient when you have an early flight.

Location is good, next to the sea and very close to the airport. Warm and clean.

Quite small for a group of 7 people. The sofa bed is not confortable. Dishwasher was not working and the inside door handle of the bathroom was broken (it was very difficult to open and close the door from inside). There isn't outside garden as described.

the appartment was rented for six people but is only usable for four people, there is only room for four chairs at the kitchen table, i had to get to more chairs in the restaurant upstairs. the appartment is not situated on the groudn floor as promised but is mostly underground with tiny windows that have no view at all at the sea or the mountains as was mentioned int the description. the ceiling and doors are very low, it feels like staying in a cellar. Kitchen is very cramped, the bed for the 6th person is a sofa which lies in a room that has no door so that the person sleeping there is constantly bothered by others using bathroom or kitchen. this place is way too expensive , very disappointed
