The location was perfect! On a quiet, residential street, a 10-minute walk from the main train station, and a 20-minute walk from the old town. The apartment is clean and spacious. My only complaint is that the pillows are weirdly large and very thin and the duvet cover doesn't hold the blanket in very well. I would suggest upgrading the linens. Felicia, the owner, was helpful.

The apartment is simple & clean and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. The beds are comfy, hot water plentiful, and this is one of the few places that has both opening windows as well as AC in the bedroom.

When we arrived at the property we had to call a phone number. Then Gunther came with the keys in about 15 minutes. The place is very spacious, clean, and bright. The building is in a safe area and I felt that the apartments also felt safe. The only thing that I would recommend is room darkening drapes because by 6 AM the sun was already brightening the bedroom. The apartment was very quiet and a big plus was the washing machine and dryer in the hallway. I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend it to friends and family.

My husband, our 16 year old daughter and I stayed in this lovely apartment in the heart of Munich. The location was ideal -- it was steps from a U-Bahn station and from the main train station. It was just above a grocery store which was perfectly adequate for our needs. The apartment was lovely, immaculately clean, and secure. The kitchen was more fulsome than many vacation apartments and there was a shared washer and dryer. The check-in was seamless and all communications with the owners were quick and friendly. From the art on the walls to a little dishwasher to a huge bathroom with two sinks, this apartment is really a cut above for its price. We would stay here again in a minute! It was fabulous and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

1) The property was spacious, clean, and had an easy check-in process. We easily slept 3 people at this property. The living room had a door so that the guest staying on the pull out couch felt like they had their own space. The bathroom was also large enough for 3 people to easily get ready at the same time. 2) The property was perfectly located to public transportation. We were steps from both the Konigspltaz and Munchen Hbf stations for easy travel throughout the city. It is also a short walk from the Marienplatz and lots of great shopping and dining. My friends and I stopped by Oktoberfest while in Munich and staying at this property made it easy to get too and from the fair grounds without any issues.

Fantastic apartment in a very central area. A short walk and you are in the Old Town and the railway station very close too. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. A huge plus is the supermarket downstairs so no lugging groceries long distances and easy to nip down for emergency supplies. Great to have easy to use laundry facilities just outside the door ( shared with another apartment ). Couldn't get the tv to work but didn't matter as we probably couldn't have understood it anyway !! Wifi was great. Only suggestion is that it would be great to have a little salt and pepper as carrying this from place to place is not an option for us. Strongly recommend this as a great place to stay while you are in Munich.

We were in this property for over a month and found it to be a great, easy apartment that definitely epitomized the "home away" experience. The bedroom and living areas were large and roomy. Kitchen was easy to prep meals and cook. Pots and cooking utensils were adequate for cooking basic meals. The apartment was clean and well maintained with cleaning appliances that were easy to break out and use (ie. vacuum, broom) Laundry and dryer were right outside of the apartment which was convenient. The apartment was also centrally located with a supermarket right next door, cafes and restaurants nearby. As well as the main central station about 7-10 min away. The only issue we occasionally ran into was that the WiFi was a bit spotty and fritzed out a few times. Also for us, the dance studio downstairs did hold a few dance parties that ran late. One of the parties didn't end until 2 am on a Sunday. We just put on some white noise to help alleviate the party noise. Also just as a note. If you recycle, the building doesn't offer glass recycling, but there are large bins that are around town that you can process your glass bottles and plastics that the supermarket doesn't take. There was one on Elisenstrasse and Lamerstrasse (or around that area). Werner was responsive and tended to our questions and any concerns we had in a prompt manner. Great place to stay for our first trip to Germany!

We were extremely pleased with the apartment and it's location. So nice to be able to walk from the train station, even with luggage - 10 minutes. The subway, bakery and grocery story were extremely convenient. We found it to be very quiet - never heard the dance studio as others mentioned. The young lady who met us was punctual, and very thorough in explaining everything, and was very responsive when we texted her with additional questions. The apartment was very clean and had all the essentials. Except - no air conditioning. When I inquired about the rental I was under the assumption we would have air conditioning, since I was quoted extra $$$ if we chose to use it. Upon arrival we were told only one unit has air. Fortunately we had cool nights and could leave the windows open and there was a fan, but it could have been a problem. At booking we were told we would not know what apartment we would be assigned to, which is a little odd. I would highly recommend renting one of these apartments - you just can't ask for a better location.

This is an excellent apartment, yet it didn't quite measure up to some other five star locations we've stayed at. It is well constructed, and looks to be new. We found it to be impeccably clean (very clean). The location is excellent and convenient. A few surprises: 1. There is only air conditioning in the bedroom, and no matter how cold we made the bedroom, the living room and bathroom were on the warm side. 2. The clothes washer and dryer were quite powerful and fast, and were shared by two other apartments on the same floor. They are located about 3 meters from our front door, in the communal hallway. You are not to use them after 8 pm (due to noise). 3. There is no freezer. 4. As to consumables, the apartment included salt, dish detergent, and one day's worth of toilet paper only. Most rentals give much more in consumables. We bought hand soap, paper towels, more toilet paper, tea, sugar, etc. at the market located 30 meters down the road. We left the extras there, so if you came in right after us, lucky you! Overall, a solid choice!

We have stayed in many VRBO units all over the world and Werner's unit rates very highly in our book for meeting all the needs of a traveler. Newly renovated, spacious, interesting artwork, clean, quiet (we did feel the beat of the dance studio but that ends by 10 or 11 pm and occurred just 3 times in the 8 nights we were there). Thoughtfully appointed with warming bar for towels, lots of hooks to hang clothes, lots of hangers (all matching!), fluffy white towels, comfortable bed. Good location about a 15 minute walk from the central station (7 minutes without suitcases). Karlstadt Department store is across the street from the central station and that is the location to meet the tours to Salzburg, Ludwig's castles, etc. (buy tour tickets from EurAide INSIDE the train station for a discount). In Karlstadt's lowest floor there is a wonderful food market with great take away food and all the fruits, veggies, and wine you might need. This handy market connects to the huge food court under the train station. In future visits to Munich I will definitely stay here and I would also recommend Werner's unit to friends.

As a first time visitor to Munich we couldn't have had a better location from which to explore this great city. The apartment was very clean and roomy ; the bed was extremely comfortable. Grocery store was just down the street; this business location just minutes from the Central Station made for a quiet neighborhood . We walked every where from the English Gardens through all the Karlplatz and Marienplatz locations several times. Be prepared with your own tourist info and do your own investigating beforehand regarding the city. The representative that met us was very lovely but she was a substitute for who we were told would meet us - small things she couldn't tell us - nothing that hurt the experience at all.

My wife and I rented one of Herr Huber's apartments with another couple for Oktoberfest 2015. Two of our other friends also rented one of his apartments, so I was able to see and spend time in the two of the four he rents. It was great to be so close to each other, but also still have privacy and space to relax and spread out. I thought the apartments were nicer in person than what the pictures depicted; certainly more spacious. We were all very pleased with the location, booking process, and cleanliness and comfort of the apartment. When an issue arose with the shower, Herr Huber promptly came out to the apartment and resolved the problem with his maintenance crew. It was a perfect place for us to stay based on our needs and we would all love to take the trip again!

Great experience from start to finish. The owner responded to our inquiry within 12 hours. Payment through PayPal was expedient and easy. Upon arrival, we were met on time as promised. The location couldn't be better as it is centrally located for , train, tram, or bus travel. From the flat we were able to walk almost anywhere within the city limits. The flat is spacious, clean, and well-equipped. A grocery store is located a short walk around the corner. Our stay consisted of four persons and we did not feel without space or find any less privacy than one would expect when you have guests sleeping in the living room. We found the beds to be very comfortable, including the fold out couch/bed.

Booking of the apartment was very easy, and payment was smooth and effortless through PayPal. Herr Huber was communicative (though I had need of a package delivery, and while he was perfectly comfortable when we met him in person with the package being delivered to the apartment, he didn't respond to my several email messages. Minor complaint at most.) The apartment itself is very centrally and conveniently located near to the Altstadt, and the Hauptbahnhof (about a 10-minute walk from either). There is a well-stocked grocery store literally half a block away, which makes using the full kitchen very doable. I was a bit disappointed that the apartment we rented does not show up in the pictures above, so I was a little surprised when we first came in. It is on the 3rd floor (4th for us Americans), so mostly above the street noise. The dance studio downstairs has classes several nights per week that go on until 10:30 p.m. - so if dance beats coming through the floor bother you, beware. Unfortunately, my partner snores, so I ended up having to use the pull-out sofabed. Alas, the mattress was very dirty, stained and lumpy, and there were no sheets available in the apartment to put over it, so I ended up covering it in blankets and the duvets that were in the wardrobe. It worked, so I can't complain too much, but the owner might consider getting the mattress in the sofa changed or at least thoroughly cleaned. The washer and dryer were in the entrance hall, and shared with the apartment next door (and not to be used after 8:00 p.m. for noise - understandable). The bathroom had two sinks, and combo bath and shower, and was large for Europe. The heated towel rack was delightful! The radiator in the living room did not work, however, and there are no rugs on the floor, so it was a bit cold when we first arrived. All in all, it was decent with some flaws - some of which are fixable, some of which just have to be taken into account when renting.

THis place was great for us. It was a nice modern apartment in a secure building with secured parking. The kitchen was equipped with everything that was needed as was the bedding and bathroom towels. Close to public transportations, which made it easy to get anywhere rathe quickly and if you need to take a taxi that was cheap too, under 10 euro. The apartment was only a one bedroom but there was a nice sofa bed in the living room, which has a door so it can also be made private like the bedroom. There was two couples and the other couple slept on the sofa bed and they said that the sofa bed was very comfortable and it still felt private so it worked for two couples. We arrived late in the evening on our check in day and they worked with us on the arrival. It is a nice place and you won't regret it.

Werner, the owner, scheduled to meet with us at the apartment on the day of out arrival and was prompt. The apartment is a short walk to the central train station, there is also a stop just down the street if you don't want to make the walk. Either way this apartment is centrally located and makes for easy access to Munich. The apartment is very clean and quiet in the evenings. We stayed with three adults for Oktoberfest and there was plenty of room for all of us. I would recommend this to apartment for anyone wanting a home away from home in Munich.
