La struttura e le camere sono molto belle, ben tenute e pulite nonostante la posizione molto vicina al parco. Posizione ideale per entrare nel parco (la struttura è prima del gate di ingresso nel Kruger)
Servizi non all’altezza e personale a volte scortese.

The beautiful infinity pool and the boma setting - even though it drizzled a bit, the staff put in so much effort to set up dinner.

The entire stay was amazing. We really enjoyed the privacy of the rooms, the feeling of being in the Bush yet in a secure luxury tented room. The walks to the reception and lounge are great. The viewing area on top of the massive boulder overlooking the park is perfect for sunsets.
The hotel could encompass a fitness centre. This would be particularly great on the days when you aren't going on an early morning safari. Additionally, it would be good to have some trail walks within the lodge for those who enjoy walking.

The most beautiful thing at Mdluli lodge is the staff. All of them are fantastic and super friendly, welcoming, and smiling all the time. They have big hearts, and they can answer your questions all day and all night. The lodges, services, food, and game drives exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed every single minute with them, and we felt we were between our families.

The breakfast was worst, literally had nothing. Poor response from staffs
Staff behaviour. Breakfast and dinner had nothing. Only like 4 dishes which was served with only attitude.

Well catered for our needs

The lodge only had a few guests while we were there and this made our stay even more special as we pretty much had the place and the staff to ourselves. They were super attentive, and extremely keen to make sure we fully utilised all the facilities and understand all activity options. Our breakfast was very filling and fresh, and our dinners delicious.
We had a great time, and the time in between game drives was really relaxing either by the pool or sat on our private decking.
The concession area was a little far from the lodge and it took 30 or so minutes to get to where there might be animals. This isnt so much a ‘what we didn’t like’ more of an observation. We might have been better to undertake the all day game drive and go deep into the Kruger to have better chances of game sightings.

We loved our stay at Mdluli Safari Lodge. The lodge and the tents are beautiful and luxurious. The staff was nice and we had a great time. We especially enjoyed the a la carte menu on our first evening. From the pool and the eating area you can see a waterhole where animals pass. We accessed the lodge via Malelane gate. It was a 4 hours self drive in the park on which we already saw many animals. Then we exited the numbi gate and took the gravel road to the lodge right in front of the gate. It is a secured road on that we felt very safe. In total we had a wonderful experience and highly recommend the lodge.

The Luxury tent was amazing. It was clean, the beds were comfortable and amazing shower indoor and outdoor. the room was great. pool area is great
What i did not like about the property - We were on half board. the food is not great, very bland food, no options for kids although kids are included. Also the location says it is in the park but that in not 100% accurate. Mduli is 9km inside the park but in order to go on a game drive/ self drive you need to leave the park on a dirt road and enter through Numbi gate everyday. Since they are in the park they should have a road from inside the park leading the the main roads inside the kruger. So you have to drive out of the accommodation area every day and enter Numbi and pay the fees. with other places in the park if you inside you only pay the fees the first time you enter and not daily

The tents are so luxurious, comfortable and so secured. The place is very clean inside and out. It rained on saturday night but we didnt feel like we were in a tent. The common area was so relaxing with breath taking views. Best management and staff of the year. The ladies and gents were always ready to attend to our needs.

The hotel is nice, expected more honesty from the staff
The hotel staff did not mention that two days before we arrived a tourist was murdered in the road to the lodge!
I expected them to at least let us know and recommend not to drive there alone. this is very disappointing!

The breakfast was great. Wide selection of delicious foods. The location is great for entering the Kruger National Park. However, it is not safe getting to the lodge from the aiport if you travel via the road to Numbi Gate. Crime is rife, and more needs to be done to make the road safe for tourists.
Leaving the lodge to return to the airport, we were advised to use the road from the Numbi Gate. This road passes through areas that are not safe for tourists. More needs to be done to improve safety and security for travelers, e.g. provide greater awareness of the significant risks on this road, more visible policing and security camera surveillance, and more visible private security on the route

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Mdluli Safari Lodge. The luxury tent was without a doubt the highlight of our stay! Everything was extremely clean and the team was very friendly!
Nothing.

new and clean with fantastic rooms
the lodge is not actually in the Kruger and the morning bush walk was outside the park and it showed - we did not see anything alive over all our 2 hour walk

The Staff were excellent! The meals were exceptional and the room is definitely a must-visit in warmer weather. If other guests don't mind sleeping with the aircon on then I suppose they'll be ok. I could not find fault with anything other than the location. Being so close to the Kruger but needing to go via Numbi gate every time you wanted to enter the park is a tad disheartening. Is there a possibility the conservancy could discuss allowing wildcard holders or another means of entering the park through private roads as an alternative?
Location, but understandably so.
