Great location to town in very nice wooded area. House is a good size for family and friends. Kitchen is well stocked with nice pans to cook with and most anything you would need. We loved grilling on the patio when we weren’t in town at a restaurant. The Property manager was quick to help with any issues we had. The only negative was the description of the house as “fabulous & newly remodeled” is a bit deceiving. The house did not appear to be newly remodeled or fabulous but an older home with a kitchen and living room facelift. There is a bit of deferred maintenance and it needs a bit of tlc. The upstairs baths are original and need maintenance. (Faucet handle fell off, toilet flapper broke & wouldn’t flush, shower grout missing or black and mildewed.) The house does not have A/C except bedroom window units so we would have liked to open windows downstairs. Most are painted shut or stuck closed. Those we were able to open had window sills full of dirt, bugs, cobwebs etc. It just appears that the basic home upkeep maintenance has not been done in quite some time. That said it is a large place with interesting MCM furnishings and walking distance to town. For a large family or several couples the price is certainly reasonable.

Our family of 6 adults enjoyed out week-long stay. There was plenty of room to spread out and we were close to town.

We rented this house for a birthday weekend of cycling in the Woodstock area, and it did not disappoint! The house was immaculate, spacious and airy and well stocked. It is on a beautiful quiet road but also minutes away from town. Susanna was a great host and even accommodated our request for a slightly later check out. We will definitely come back again if we’re in the area!

We had a wonderful time at this property. The home was immaculate, spacious, and well-stocked. The pictures do not completely capture how airy and light the house is, nor how seamlessly it nestles amongst the trees. We look forward to coming back again!

Everything was fantastic. Bed, sofas, and overall house was so comfortable. Slept like a baby. Modern and cozy. Fire place was also great.
