Michael and Laura's cottage is so amazing. It's exactly as pictured and the pool is fantasticly relaxing. I highly recommend sraying at the cottage.

Clean, cozy cottage is a great base from which to explore the L.A. area. Michael and Laura are terrific hosts - while they live on the property, they were unobtrusive but readily available if needed. It’s in a very quiet residential area, but is completely enclosed by beautiful landscaping. We really enjoyed our time here and would visit again.

We had a great stay at the contemporary cottage! Michael is a superb host. The cottage itself is super cozy and there is just everything you need to make your stay comfortable. We’re a family of four and there’s enough room for everyone. The pool is just great - we spent a lot of time swimming and just splashing around. We highly recommend this place and if we ever come back to LA we would definitely stay there again!

It was a lovely sray. The pool is clean and very grateful we were able to heat it to the temperature we want to thank you so much.

My wife and I have stayed at Micheal several times in the past 3 years and it is just like home for us. The owners are friendly knowledgeable and always available. The cottage is perfect for a couple it has everything one needs. We will most likely stay again.

We chose this cottage because we wanted to visit Universal and Warner Bros studios without the hassle of the I-5 and it was the perfect location and very peaceful. It had everything we needed and having sole use of the pool was a bonus. Michael was a great host, it was nice chatting with him and he gave us some tips on where to go.

We stayed at this fabulous property from April 22-26, 2023 and we couldn’t have loved it more. We arrived later in the evening and it was thankfully so easy to enter the house, plus it was located in a beautiful neighborhood that felt very safe. Michael was a very prompt and very nice communicator from the beginning of the booking process all the way through checkout. If there was ever any question he responded within minutes. My kids thoroughly enjoyed the private pool (which we did heat for the couple of days that we could use it)from morning until night. It was so nice having a laundry room to use and detergent was provided. They also have shampoo, conditioner, soap, makeup removing wipes, K cups, and special drinks all ready for you to use. Anything you may need to buy can be found at stores nearby, with Rite Aid and Whole Foods being the closest options. I loved the garden and patio so much, if we had had time I would have gladly sat out there all day bird watching and smelling the flowers. Our main reason for staying in LA was to go to Universal Studios which was only a 15 minute drive away. Really, we drove to all our sightseeing spots and got there in 40 minutes or (more often)less. This includes Beverly Hills, Funko Pop/ Hollywood Blvd, Griffith Observatory, Warner Bros studio, and the La Brea Tar Pits. Entry to the freeway is very close and convenient to the house. This VRBO will probably be our favorite stay of all the time, I honestly don’t foresee us ever finding a nicer place to stay. It made me wish I had allotted much more of our vacation time in LA and less time at Disney. Who knew you that could find such a relaxing place in such a huge city? Thank you SO much for allowing us to stay on your property, just writing this makes me miss it. Don’t hesitate to stay here, if it’s available, book it immediately!

The property is charming, with a beautiful pool and lovely landscaping. The neighborhood is quiet and convenient to major attractions. The host, Michael, was very responsive and helpful, and he’s also a kind and interesting human being. :) Highly recommend!

FANSTASTIC...very private and well maintained. The hosts respected our privacy while always being available for any questions or suggestions. The cottage had great access to so many great places in LA that made this beautiful cottage a wonderful get away.

We loved our stay at this cottage in Sherman Oaks. The location was perfect for visiting our kids who live in West Hollywood and Resida. We enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner outside by the pool. Michael and Laura are the perfect hosts. They made sure we had everything we needed for our Thanksgiving. We loved meeting and visiting with them. We can’t wait to stay again!

This was at least my fourth or even fifth stay at the Cottage. It remains my 'go-to' place to stay in the region...everything is very comfortable, the kitchen is small but very well stocked, the cottage is quiet, and the neighborhood feels very safe. Never an issue parking on the street right in front of the cottage entrance. And the pool and patio area is lovely! Best suited to individuals and couples, I think. Highly recommended!

Love this little cottage, we even swam in the rain in November, Michael heated the pool to 86*. This was our 2nd time staying here and we will be back in 2023! Chris and Paul

My teen son and I stayed in this dreamy cottage while vacationing a few days in LA. We had a car so it was very easy to drive to all the LA attractions and yet come back to a quiet, safe and cozy retreat. Michael was very responsive and welcoming. We would definitely come back when visiting LA.
