This is a very pretty apartment built into the walls of the castle. It is charming and unique and many passers by stop to take photos. The location is superb. It is just inside the castle walls and there is an excellent restaurant next door and another a few metres away.

Points to note: There are no windows in the bedrooms or the bathroom hence a bit claustrophobic but as it’s built into the castle walls that is not surprising but maybe should be mentioned in the description. The only natural daylight comes through the front of the property. The second bedroom is small and the mattress on the single bed was hard and uncomfortable. We left a day early as we just couldn’t get a decent night’s sleep on it. The single bed has a pull out bed from underneath to accommodate a second person but when that is extended most of the floor space is taken up so hardly any room to manoeuvre. Our feeling was that the property is ideal for two people sharing the double bed and one person in a more comfortable bed in the small bedroom but for 4 people it wouldn’t be great.
