The Corn Palace Cottage - Great Location
Benvenuti a tutti! La nostra casa, costruita nel 1925, si trova nella zona storica del centro di Mitchell. a pochi passi dal Worlds Only Corn Palace, dal Pepsi-Cola Community Center e dal teatro, dall'antico centro commerciale, dalle sale di fuga, dalla caffetteria, dal cupcake, dal cinema e molto altro ancora! Include parcheggio fuori strada per 2 veicoli. Adoriamo partecipare a un evento al Corn Palace e non dover trovare un parcheggio. Possiamo solo camminare! Fa un ottimo fine settimana.

A pochi passi da tutti gli eventi presso il Corn Palace e la strada principale del centro. Se ti piace un po 'di storia, oggetti d'antiquariato e tocco moderno, troverai la nostra casa piacevole. Mercoledì usiamo un ufficio privato in casa dalle 9 alle 5. C'è un altro spazio ufficio in cucina da usare. Si prega di fare attenzione che se rimani durante la settimana, mercoledì, sarebbe qualcuno in ufficio dalle 9 alle 5. The house and its location were perfect- clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. Within walking distance of shopping and food. Host was easy to communicate with. Our relatives who had booked hotels for the reunion were jealous of what we found.

Fun, cozy little place, with a great location. Decor was fun and appropriate with the Corn Palace right outside the front door! It was very clean and well put together. Amenities were spot on, and even had a few extra little surprises :).

While our daughter studied at DWU these past four years, we ALWAYS stayed at the Corn Palace Cottage and ENJOYED every visit. We looked forward to our stay knowing that the cottage had EVERYTHING we needed. The communication with the owners made it feel like FAMILY. Everything is so close and convenient. We want to thank you for always being there for us and making your home feel like our home while traveling. We will be back, just because. #Cheers

I stayed at the cottage with my middle school son and his friend for their event at the Corn Palace. The cottage has an ideal location for any time you want easy access to Downtown Mitchell. It was a quick drive to the aquatic center and easy walking for food.
I'll take bed toppers next time we stay because the bed and the pull-out sofa were too firm for us, but I don’t count that as a fault. Perfectly acceptable for our stay.
The shower is tiny, which was a non-issue for the boys or me; however, it would have been uncomfortable for my 6' 3", 250# husband. Not a deal breaker, just something to know.
Overall, a really lovely place to stay and enjoy Mitchell! The cottage is well-appointed, charming, and comfortable in all regards. The boys thought it was our most fun trip to Mitchell yet. The only disappointing part was having to cut our trip unexpectedly short!

We always appreciate staying at the cottage when we visit our daughter at DWU. Centrally located iand minutes away from campus. The area is quiet and easy to get to. Everything you need is inside this place. Look forward to our next visit. Cheers, Joe & Jan from Arizona!

The pull out bed cannot be justified as comfortable, therefore I would regard the house as accommodates 2 adults. The house is lacking towel bars in the kitchen and bathroom. The black rug under the bed hides the bed frame legs, especially the middle legs, very easy to overlook and possibly break a toe. Not much fun for vacationing guests.
Overall a very cute set up, just lacking a few essentials. Thanks for everything…

The Corn Palace Cottage is exactly what we needed for our stay during DWU graduation! Excellent location and proximity to the Corn Palace, Stacey was very easy to contact and communicate with, check-in/out was a very simple process, the home was cozy and clean. Will stay again when in Mitchell!

Yeah, can you put this is such a perfect place to stay while visiting mitchell. It’s right next to the corn Palace. Plus, within walking distance to every great restaurants and pubs in Mitchell on Main Street. Cozy, neat and everything you need. This will always be our PLACE TO STAY in Mitchell, while visiting our Daughter at DWU.

Staying at the Mitchell, SD Vrbo was just what we needed. We enjoyed a nice meal made on the hotplate then had fun exploring the decorated, lighted Corn Palace. The pullout couch was surprisingly very comfortable. Highly recommended vrbo!

Nice place, great location, very clean!
We really enjoyed our stay at this home in Mitchell. We loved the location. It across the street from the Corn Palace. We walked to our son's graduation at the corn palace:) Easy walking distance to lots to do. We enjoyed the up-to-date decor with some fun vintage mixed in. If you like cooking in, the kitchen cooking is a little bit of a challenge, but it can be done. The shower is small, but works fine. We would definitely stay here again if we come to Mitchell.

Excellent place for downtime
We came to Mitchell for our granddaughter’s State swim meet. This was a perfect place to relax in between sessions. Three young adults joined us so they could watch their sister/cousin swim. A twin air bed and the pull out sofa worked great! We had everything we needed and enjoyed the home atmosphere. Thank you for a fun weekend.
The Vrbo apartment was great, very comfortable, well kept, with fun decor. We especially thank you for extending our check out time.

Love Mitchell
I’ve been coming to Mitchell for a long time to hunt pheasants, always stayed in one of the local hotels, I decided to VRBO it this year and boy was I lucky to find this property. I’ll be here next year, thank you.

Just as we expected and we'll stay here again
The house was just as advertised, the check in and check out process was so easy (we were delayed on the beginning and end of our trip due to airline cancellations) and the house was clean, comfy and perfectly located for everything we wanted and needed to do in Mitchell (go see our son's football game at DWU). Clean and comfortable
Very cute place overlooking the Corn Palace. Clean, well-appointed, and I loved having the use of a washer and dryer. Would recommend this rental if you’re visiting or driving through South Dakota.

Perfect for my needs
The location was perfect. The house was well equipped. The only thing I would have liked to have would be a full size stove. With just a single burner hot plate and a small counter top oven (which could not be used at the same time), it made eating at home quite limited.

Nice location, very comfy bed!
This property was easy to find, and conveniently located right near downtown. Great communication with property manager who answered all questions promptly. It was the most comfortable bed I've slept in away from home for a long time. I will definitely stay here again on my way through. :-)
