Cozy Adobe Home in Fort Davis!!!
Casa adobe con due camere da letto carina e accogliente a Fort Davis. La casa si trova in un tranquillo quartiere di Fort Davis, a pochi passi dalla strada principale della città e dall'Hotel Limpia. Alpine e Marfa sono a 25 minuti. Il Maverick Junction al Big Bend National Park è di 2 ore di viaggio da casa.

Cucina: cucina completa disponibile con stoviglie, utensili, forno, pentole / padelle e frigorifero / congelatore.
Bagno: sono disponibili anche tutti i prodotti da bagno per un soggiorno confortevole (shampoo, sapone, asciugamani e carta igienica).
Camere da letto: lenzuola, coperte e cuscini.
Aria condizionata e riscaldamento: nella camera da letto principale è presente una singola unità A / C che mantiene la zona fresca. Per le temperature più fredde, ci sono fantastici riscaldatori di spazio in ogni stanza, nonché una stufa a legna nella sala da pranzo e un camino nel soggiorno.

Quiet location for the most part. The a/c cooling is provided by two window units. One in the living room and one in the king bedroom. We were there on probably some of the hottest days of the year in Ft. Davis, and the other bedroom never got terribly cool. The king bedroom did get nice and cool though. Enjoyed both the front and back porches. Kitchen had more than everything you would expect.

The house suited our needs well. As described, the house only has space heaters which did the job just fine. The only complaint we had was the limited water pressure and little to no hot water in the bathroom. I did not see anyone else mention this in the reviews, so it could be a recent development that the property owner may take care of quickly. The host was very responsive and helpful.

Very cool place to hang out during a guy’s trip to big bend country

By the morning of our last day, we were so charmed that we hated to leave. Upon our arrival, however, we had been surprised to find that heat was provided by electric space heaters and a wood stove. The weather was unseasonably cool and rainy and the wood stove turned out to be a feature, not a bug. A note in the property description about the mode of heat would have been helpful.

Cute and Spacious

Roomy and good location
This place is pretty close to the McDonald Observatory and Fort Davis downtown area. We found the house comfortable and roomy with some nice furniture. Though, it wasn’t as clean as other vacation rentals I’ve stayed in and the kitchen was a bit messy. It still worked for our short stay.

Very convenient to downtown and extremely clean!!
Probably the cleanest vrbo we have ever stayed in. Decorated nicely yet all pieces were still very functionable. Large kitchen, dining room and main living area plus a great bed in the master. Will definitely stay there again on our next trip!

2nd stay here
I enjoy cycling Ft. Davis Scenic Loop and the triangle and this is a great location to do it and it’s a short drive to Marfa and Alpine.

Home sweet home!
This house has everything as listed and more! The house was clean, rooms spacious and furnishings lovely as well as comfortable. Wood was provided so we could easily enjoy a fire in the Kiva fireplace. We enjoyed the views from the outside settings of the house as well as the peaceful and quiet neighborhood. It’s only a 3 block walk to downtown and a scenic 15 minute drive to either Davis Mountain State Park or Chihuahuan Desert Nature Center where we enjoyed great hiking and birding. The Reata in nearby town of Alpine was our favorite restaurant. My husband and I already look forward to our next visit to this charming house!

Wonderful place
The house was wonderful and well-stocked. The fireplaces were wonderful. The only glitch was that we weren't able to get the TV apps to work and were unable to find/get information re how to make them work.

Art house and relaxation
Wonderful retreat home with personal artistic touches throughout.—on a big rustic lot....this historic house was like going home again. This vrbo gave us a simple and complete rest... we never turned on the TV... marvelous fire place. Easy access to hiking and Town. Great and we’ll be back... Brad & Julia

Comfortable
Very spacious house and yard. Property listing says TV, but it is only Netflix and we could not get it to connect to internet....not a big deal for us. The nice SURPRISE was a big washer and dryer that were NOT listed in the description. Temperature was 25 degrees when we arrived but the 4 space heaters work well and we were very comfortable.

Fun getaway home!
Such a cute adobe house! It was the perfect size for my husband and I to get away for a few days. It’s been nicely kept-up, and was very comfortable. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, as we ate in nearly every meal, due to the pandemic. We especially enjoyed the artwork, and sunsets on the back porch! We would stay here again in a heartbeat, and have already recommended it to family and friends. Thank you for your west Texas hospitality!

We loved this property from the moment we walked in. Clean, cute and very comfortable. It was convenient to the town center, grocery store and local attractions. We self-catered due to Covid, and found the kitchen and house had everything we needed. Definitely would like to stay here again.

Charming house with everything you need!
This lovely home was perfect for our stay in Ft. Davis! The kitchen is fully stocked, the beds were very comfy, the decor was inviting, and the internet was fast. Great views from the front and back porch. Beautiful native plants in the yard. Sad we couldn't stay there longer!

Well folks if you need a reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the big city this is the place for you... calm, peaceful and very relaxing. It's not luxurious but everything one would need to be comfortable.

The property was very nice. Easy to find, parking was easy and entry to the house was very easy. The view was amazing!!!
I had 3 teenage girls with myself and the house could more than comfortably sleep all of us.
The kitchen was stocked and easy to navigate-very clean!
The overall feel of the house was very clean and cozy.
We will come visit again!
