It was a great stay! We stayed for two nights after hiking the WHW. Really had a super time in Fort William. The hosts were very friendly. The door was open and the key was lying on the table. The appartement/cottage was very clean and we had a lot of space. The bed slept great!!! We had the opportunity to do some laundry in the cottage. And there were some basic stuff there for us to make a healty breakfast the first morning (granola/ banana/...) On top of the bill, when it was raining the morning that we were checking out, the host offered us a free ride to the train station.

Really nothing really. It is a 15 a 20 min walk to the town centre of Fort William but that we knew before booking it.

Great location for us to start Ben Nevis early the next morning. I told Debbie (host) we were doing it and she kindly left some porridge and bananas out for us. The place was clean and ideal for us.

Immaculate apartment with everything you could need. Appreciated the milk and fruit.

Husband has mobility issues and found the stairs awkward. About 15 minutes walk into town as we didn’t have a car.

The property was very well appointed. Spotless and comfortable. The property is in a quiet area less than a mile outside Fort William

We didn’t meet the host in person, although Debbie communicated by email.

River cottage has everything you need for a self catering holiday. It was spotlessly clean . The king size bed and ensuite were excellent.

The whole cottage was very well maintained.very clean and comfortable bed. All the facilities were great. Due to rain couldnt use the outside seating where river flows right next to the cottage, hence the name. Debbie was too sweet to talk with us and ask about our trip. Would definitely love to visit again in summers. Cheers.

Perfect place! We had very good time here, after few days of traveling through Scotland we stayed hwre for a it tlw bit longer and enjoyed a lot. Cottage was very clean and warm, kitchen was fully equipped what allowed us to prepare own meals. Owner is very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this place ❤️

The property had a washer and drying racks which enabled us to do laundry. Perfect for a longer stay with a full kitchen. wish that we had more time to spend in this area. Would highly recommend to anyone doing a longer stay in the Ft. William area.

We stayed at River Cottage for three nights. The owners have set up the accommodation in their garage. This has been cleverly arranged, which makes the accommodation pleasant, especially as it is modern and very clean. It has all the necessary equipment. The accommodation is located close to the centre of Fort William, a town without much charm, but very well situated for excursions and walks. The famous Jacobite steam train runs right along the back of the garden!

Absolutely amazing cottage. Very nice, clean and cozy. Fully equipped kitchen. It is situated in the quiet residential area, with nice garden. Few minutes from the city centre by car.

lovely wee cottage only 10 minutes walk from the centre and the railway station if you are doing the Jacobean train. Very clean and well equipped for a couple. The host was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend for a short break. Private parking is great too.
