Everything was fine for what we needed -small, but simple and clean.

Amenities are sparse- we called reception to ask for a knife for some cheese and the receptionist was dismissive and not helpful at all. Some customer service would make a world of difference.

It's a proper suite with full kitchen where traveller can make all his meals and laundry using the washer-dryer etc. Bedroom is spacious, sitting cum dining area is also good

Air conditioning was inadequate. Even after reporting it, Housekeeping could not set heating to comfortable level. Car park rate at NZD 45 per day is very high as adjacent covered parking rates are much lower

Really clean rooms and great size and location and easy to access. Happy with the general facilitates and overall good value for money I thought and would happily stay again if it wasn't for the issues below.

The room we got had a huge billboard outside that kept us up all night and when we tried to request a room change, we were told there were no other rooms available. After trying to then get a refund for the second night, suddenly a spare room was found, which was way better and got a good sleep. Check in after the reception closed took quite a long time to get someone to answer so we could get to the lock box and check in.

This is usually one of my go to hotels when I need to stay over in Auckland.

My room this time (105) was right opposite a light up bill board and the curtain didn’t quite fit so I was treated to a light show at the end of my bed.

Well located hotel, close to Sky Tower, Britomart Station and waterfront. Well equipped suite, with comfortable bed and very spacious.

We stayed two nights - Thursday and Friday. No issues with Thursday night, but on the Friday night, the pub/club next door started loud music after 10pm and continued until 2.30am. Our room was on the 1st Floor and we could feel the music, not just hear it! We were kept awake until it went off. Mentioned it to the front desk the next morning and they didn't seem surprised. Also, not all appliances were working, dishwasher noted as awaiting repair.

Booking.com did not specify that secure parking is PAID. Also Booking.com did not disclose the $100 bond fee. Additionally, Ramada still has not refunded me my bond fee nor contacted me to confirm I will be receiving this back.

The hotel is very difficult to find. Clearer signage is needed. Even the receptionist said she couldn’t find it on her first day of work. Only a loading zone across the road to drop off luggage.

Great location for all the sights downtown at a reasonable price. Comfortable and quiet.

Property was great. But had a hard time finding an open restaurant on Saturday morning for breakfast. Even the one advertised in the elevator was closed.

The room didn't feel super clean and the walls were quite thin.

Didn’t like being charged a “ security fee” on our credit card. NZ$100. When I questioned this it was dropped to $50 which will only be refunded after 10 days!! And then the onus is on me to check my bank account to make sure it’s refunded. How ridiculous when the hotel already has my credit card details and if they had enough staff they could check our room for damage on checkout. And no other hotel in NZ has charged such a fee.

Only after checking out, I was advised that the $100 bond on my account would take 10-15 working days to be returned. 18 days later it still hasn't. Any pre-authorised pending payment should be returned to your account within 5 days. **Update, bond return after 1 month**

Location was good. a descent walk down to the harbour, local to shops and restaurants.close to the sky tower. Fridge and tea making facilities in the room. Bed was very comfy and air conditioning worked very well

There were no drawers in the room, but there was a large footstool, only use for this was to put the case on but a unit with drawers would be more useful.
