Nothing!! An absolute disgrace! Do not book!

Booked the room for 4 people. It isn’t in the hotel it’s down the road. The room stinks foul of mould. There is mould all over the room. Couldn’t stay in the room My daughter is asthmatic and would have been seriously ill if she had stayed in there. The door lock doesn’t even look safe I cannot believe this is allowed to be let out and I am appalled by booking.com that they are continuing to take money from guests who turn up to this hovel! Hotel not replying to messages regarding refund! Do not book here

Chambre très petite, heureusement que nous n'avions pas de valise sinon la circulation à l'intérieur aurait été plus que compliquée. Tapisserie arrachée, humidité, trous dans le volet, matelas plus que moelleux qui le rend inconfortable, porte de la douche qui ne ferme pas. Pas de petite bouteille d'eau mise à disposition si nécessaire. Seul point positif : la proximité de la gare de St Pancras et de la station King Cross pour le départ des studios Harry Potter.

This is our dream hotel! A warm welcome, Great location, very peaceful, beautiful decor, spotlessly clean, and Super comfy beds and pillows. Yannis and crew couldn’t have been more helpful, it felt like we were staying with family - thank you all for a perfect stay

It was a beautiful room in a super convenient location! We left our luggage at the hotel early in the day, and when we returned after check in, our host had already taken our luggage to our room. I would definitely stay again!

We were in the offsite apartment which I didn’t understand when I booked. Once we arrived, it was a 5 minute walk to the new location. When we arrived the apartment smelt like damp and looked nowhere near what it appeared on the website. When we contacted the staff to express our disappointment we were told ‘it was great value for he price’ It was £300 so $600 Aus and I expected more value than what we received. We left the accomodation without staying because of the smell.

Hotels in Kings Cross are very expensive- I guess you pay for the convenience of being near the station. The Melville is fine for a couple of days or if you need to catch the Eurostar. It’s a basic, sufficiently equipped hotel just a five minute walk from the station, facing a small park. Our room on the 3rd floor was very small. Bathroom was very clean. The standing fan was much needed during a hot summer. Staff were great, very responsive to messages and helpful. We arrived in the morning before the room was ready so had to leave our luggage with reception. When we got back in the afternoon, our luggage had been taken up to the room- much appreciated as the upper floors are only accessible by a narrow staircase! The hotel is beginning to show its age, but is decently maintained.

When I arrived the room was so dusty and small I pulled back the bed covers and there was stains on the bed clothes and Mattress Tv picture was so bad I couldn't make out the picture. I asked to be moved and they refused they only had a Family room and wouldn't leave me move. They changed the bed clothes alright which was okay but you know it must be still bad underneath. When leaving approx 6am I came down into reception and noticed two feet from underneath the desk, the receptionist was asleep under the desk on towels. I never seen anything like this in all travels.

It’s a lovely building & very secure, no need to worry about checking in because you’ll get a code for the front door & room door. If you drop your bags off before check in, they’ll put them in your room ready for you along with a complimentary sandwich, they also offer to hold you bags after you check out if you don’t want to carry them. Had everything we needed in the room & it was super clean & comfortable, plus it was in the perfect location, literally a minutes second walk to the tube, train station, food places etc.

Personally just the fact there was no air con, we had room fans but it was super hot. Other than that we loved the stay & will definitely consider it as a choice of hotel again!

Location to St. Pancras International station was fab. Staff were lovely and carried our bags up the 2 floors as no lift. Basic rooms .but great for 1 night prior to leaving for our holiday.

I loved the people! Yannis is amazing. So friendly and... I don't know. He is going the extra mile.. just amazing! Night staff was very nice too! Very clean, and absolutely gorgeous design!!!! Luggage facilities was an extra plus to everything. I loved that place and the persons who welcomed us!

The location was close to Kings Cross station.

The state of the upkeep of the property was atrocious. It was unsafe in areas and filthy dirty. The property had any and cockroach infestations. Facilities wise - there were insufficient facilities supplied for the property that was advertised.

Bed was a bit small. Room quite warm but there was a fan provided so we kept it on all night.
