The food was delicious, it exceeded my expectations.
The room was below standard

Some of staff rude especially management asking us to pay tax of $80 US dollars for our group of 4 and managers became rude and ignorant when we explained we had taxes including our payment with booking.com and showed them our payment in full showing taxes but they refused and dismissed to believe us and we contacted Booking.com via telephone and it was confirmed to us via telephone with booking.com we paid in full including tax and I confirmed to the hotel management that booking.com contacted them via telephone to tell them we had paid taxes in full with our package and advised the hotel we have already paid our taxes fully in the booking.and management said they did not receive any call from booking.com.
I was asked to pay the taxes when we was checking out of the hotel and again I was treated with aggression from management she accused me of lying and said it was my fault because I refused to pay and their staff member who checked us in will have to pay out of their wages if I don’t pay and that staff member did nothing wrong.
The management accused me of lying which was very embarrassing for me in front of other guests and staff.
What they are doing is a Big scam.

The room and bathroom was not good. The bathroom basin facet broke off. The toilet was blocked. We had to ask for a plunger to get stuff down. The room floor was always wet

The pool bar and the fact that you can access the whole property from one end
It rained every day. I think an overhead for the walkway could be put in place to get to and from different areas. Where the entertainment centre is should be covered also or a tent put in place for when it rains. I spent 4 nights in total and they had to postpone the shows or keep a little thing inside the lobby area.

the beach only … was the worst place I ever stayed .. this was the first time I had to pre pay for the stay one month before and I understand why coz when u arrive u don’t want to stay but u have already paid so u stay .. the pictures are old coz the property is run down … checking in was a joke said we could check k in after 3 pm but not true room was not ready till 5:39 pm of course u can go have lunch but after a long flight u just want to shower and relax and u cannot coz ur room is not ready … service is no service no one wants to help it like they don’t care to help u at all .. no service .. u should take the resort off ur list coz it was not at all what u see in the pictures 😠😡😠😡😠😡
the property is run down … we had ants 🐜 in the restroom and our toilet got stopped up and one afternoon we had no water in the shower so we could not shower.. the pool needs to be clean everyday but seems like it not down … the pool area was not pickup because towels from the day before and for days where not collected .. again no service

Oceanside and not too big. BEing able to go next door for meals and drinks, which were generally higher quality and better staffed.
Noise! First night we had a room adjacent to the entry area and a very loud band played for some hours till late. Loud music started early and played late. According to staff, an adjacent disco played loud music till 4am on night. We moved to the 4th floor overlooking the main pool, and that music also started early and played late. Not sure why it has to be so loud.

The views were awesome! Entertainment was fantastic and the food is very good!
Don't treat your fellow Jamaican citizens like trash. I had family visit me at the resort, and I was shocked at how security treated the locals. I understand safety, but all persons, whether tourists or not, deserve respect. I promise you that no resort in Canada, USA, or UK treats their own citizens in such a manner. We are all humans on this earth deserving of dignity and respect. Please be good to your fellow Jamaicans.

I liked the peacefulness of the place. The beach was so beautiful.
I didn't liked that there was a limited variety of food especially for those of us who don't eat meat. Breakfast, lunch and dinner should alway cater to everyone needs.
Also, I think that the hotel needs a 24 hour sports bar where persons have a drink whenever they feel like.

Location. Beach not brilliant but next door very good. Alternative eating spots eg barbecue good. Gym slightly underwhelming. Info on activities such as cycling, canoeing UNDERSOLD and unclear.
Elevator not working when we arrived. 'system' down delaying our check in.
