I absolutely loved the villa with the pool. What a beautiful room and I enjoyed having my own private lap pool.
The only thing I can say negative is that everything is a little bit far away if you’re staying at the Villas which is at the back of the property it is quite a walk to the bar and restaurant but other than that the resort is beautiful. Also, you can actually get concierge to take you to your room on a buggy which leaves at reception which I found quite handy and used quite a bit
to take me back and forth from the restaurant to my pool villa.

Central location
The new pool area was closed for maintenance but we were not notified prior to booking .
There was a fan running in the room at maximum speed , the switch had been covered by a bed board leaving it not possible to turn off .
The pictures of the room showed multiple pillows on the beds and nice bed decor but the room only had one pillow on each bed .
The pool that was open had a lot of leaves in it .
Water service was noisy when the room above showered .
Shower was tired and overall room tired .
Parking was not free for in the compound

Couldn't find the way to ring for courtesy bus from airport. Got to resort had to go across road to novotel to book in. No directions for where to go, and then back to mercure inn. Rang twice from airport, no answer. Room had cobwebs in it. For the price we paid were expecting a very nice room. Got shabby furniture, tiny TV. Meals at Cossies too expensive as overcooked food.

Loved the new pool area and Splash Cafe
Our room was very noisy with people dragging suitcases along the corridor and slamming doors. There isn't enough parking.

Our room was spacious
No rails to get a in and out of pool. Problem for a nearly 70yo. Need more kitchenware available. Didn't have a bowl

We stayed in a bungalow with our own pool and it was lovely. Spotlessly clean and it had everything we needed. It is a strange place to stay, ie its at the airport, but we never heard a plane and its really close (by car) to Nightcliffe and Rapid Creek. Its also very close to other local beaches which are far better than the city centre. The general pool is also a highlight and far better than those of the city hotels.

Bathroom bin was not emptied or cleaned prior to our arrival which was disturbing, no discount or anything was offered
The price was very expensive & no breakfast included
I organised a late check out & the cleaners were hovering at our door & looking in our window to see if we were gone yet

Always first choice when coming into darwin.
Swimming pool was great.
Was 9 days post op from major surgery, and it took 3 goes to get a room that door would open. It's not the staff's fault, more malfunction with electronic lock.

The walls and ceiling were covered in mould and the smoke detector battery was intermittently alarming when I arrived at 11.30pm!! The second room I was allocated was better.

restaurant over priced, forgot a meal then provided an incomplete meal. rooms very basic for price.
