The pool is absolutely fab great for kids , staff are lovely very nice

Room are dreadful havnt seen rooms like this in a long while . Bad need of an update . Had maintenance up to fix door. This should be done before guests arrive .

It was really big and had loads of pools. Ground floor apartment was so handy.

We had issues with our booking and we were overcharged but it did get dealt with.

Each block of apartments had their own pool which was great.

Little bit far from main area but ask for a backgate key makes all the difference not having to walk all the way around the complex to main road.

It had everything on the grounds

The territory of hotel is very beautiful. Room is clean. Small kitchenette has everything for cooking. Bathroom has hair dryer, big bottles of shampoo and body wash. We had all inclusive - food was good, but simple, nothing really special. Stuff are very nice and friendly. Swimming pools are very clean. Hotel has beach shuttle few times per day. It is really very handy. Overall hotel is really good for family holidays or senior holidays. Highly recommend it!

We had small ants around the sink. Not a big problem, but little annoying. The buffet almost had no food choice for small kids, was difficult to find something for my 4 yo child.

Lack of activities during the day. Lots of animation staff but not alot happening.

Tropical Island is a lovely place for families. Lots of pools and entertainment for kids. Apartments are spacious enough and well maintained. Plenty of sun loungers so no issue there. We didn’t eat in the property so cannot comment on the food. Little supermarket on site is well stocked.

Location means that if you are not eating at the property you have to take taxis to the centre of Playa Blanca. Easily walkable for adults but not for little children.

The whole settle was lovely and very child friendly

A lot of ants in the room and staff were not bothered by this. Kitchenette was unusable

loved the hotel, the pools were great. the staff lovely. it’s a massive complex so plenty to do. not too far from the beach but a small walk. nice clean rooms, spacious and balcony is big. shower is good and hot.

the beds. very loud when you turn over and not comfortable atall. the walls were thin so could hear a conversation from next door.

Size of the pool and water temperature My 3yr old liked the little water play area, when it was on(it was off for most of the time)

Its a very basic resort. It does look better in photos. You have to get drunk to get a good vibe. Unprofessional staff In kids party music was waaay too loud, it was hurting ears and many other guests noticed that as well. Others were drunk and didnt cared. Same again on next day and day days after. Glad we did not took all inclusive. Food is below average. Mold in bathrooms, Tampons under the bridge that goes over main pool, seen them on the next day as well, then just avoided that area.

Staff very friendly facilities very good and food excellent. Normally really fusy with food but eat everyday here and not 1 bad meal different options each night

Room was a little run down damp In bedroom come back full of a bad chest and sure it's because of the damp I no not every room can be perfect all the time at such a big resort but didn't expect damp. Also no cleaner apart from 1 day but we was ill last day of holiday. And door look wouldn't work as we checked in main door was just wide open. Not 1 to moan really enjoyed everything else in 2 minds to try again in afew weeks or try different hotel.

only had the breakfast and it was only alright the cleaning wasn’t great either plus the big pools with the slides weren’t heated water was too cold

Lovely family friendly resort with nicely landscaped grounds, lots of pools - the splash park was a big hit for us. Would stay there again.

Staff very helpful

Room not well cleaned, all furnitures are old and uncomfortable, there were dirty towels, hairs sticked on bathroom door and inside the bed. The bed linen weren’t well cleaned and one pillow cover was torn. When we asked for another pillow it arrived smelling of fried. Blackout curtains with holes. For the price we paid I will never go back there.

The complex is great for kids. The pools are great and there is a pool for all age groups. The rooms are lovely and the cleaning service provided is excellent. The whole complex is extremely clean. Staff are really nice and very hard working.

The quality of food in the buffet restaurant is poor. There are 3 a la carte restaurants each only opening 2 days a week and not on a Sunday or Monday. So depending on what day you arrive and how long you stay you will probably only get to eat in one of them. We did get a night in the pizzeria and the pizzas were great much nicer than the pizzas in the buffet. There is a lot of effort put into the evening entertainment and the kids disco is great but the bingo straight after is not necessary. Kids are running around excited after disco and are eagerly waiting for more entertainment but then bingo comes on which no one was listening to and was very boring.

Apartment was clean, functional and air conditioning was perfect.

Breakfast orange juice, not enough sun umbrellas at the smaller pools. No soap in the bathroom. Shower gel had to be used for hand washing.
