We had to wait 45 mins for ot to arrive, had to find a member of staff to ask for butter and sauce

The breakfast was not good. We waited 45mins to an hour for food. I only ordered a yogurt and granola pot as well as crumpets, something that would be extremely quick to make. The crumpets were rock hard when came out. My friend ordered eggs with extra bacon. There was no bacon and the eggs were overcooked.

A family hotel with very high standards, nothing was to much trouble. Very clean and excellent food!

Organised a leaving do for a colleague where 33 of us attended. Adam, Dane and Vicky went out of their way to ensure the evening ran smoothly. Very professional and extremely helpful throughout the whole process.

Excellent bar, excellent breakfast, excellent staff. I've stayed in alot of hotels in my time, and I have to say, I love this style of hotel the best, small independent, but delivering exactly what the customer wants. So as soon as I walked into the bar, which had a pleasing look of relaxed chilled design. I just knew exactly what I was getting, no surprises that it had a good range of beers and wines. And it was the same in the morning at breakfast, absolutely spot on full cooked English breakfast. This is now my go to hotel when in Lincoln.

Nothing really. I'd be nit picking if I did. So I won't. Doesn't have car park, but there's one directly over the road, 9 quid for overnight parking.

All of the staff were very friendly and did their best with a very old and quirky building. Our room was very nice albeit old fashioned but was spotless and serviced brilliantly each day.

Breakfast was very hit or miss, mostly miss. The first day, our cooked breakfast took over an hour to come and it tasted like it had been standing for most of that. The coffee wasn’t too bad but the tea was served from an urn which was topped up from time to time and consequently was not boiling. My daughter had brown toast which was completely burnt, she wasn’t the only one and the croissants were the same. Jam and marmalade had to be specially requested. The last day, things had got a bit better, still not great. (Less guests?)

Really close to our Saturday night venue Luncheon & Breakfasts excellent.

The Tower is a beautiful hotel in the heart of Lincoln. Lovely decor, great food and the staff can’t do enough for you.

Great time had we've been to Lincoln many times and have enjoyed it. This was the best stay great family run hotel all staff were amazing

Second time myself and wife have stayed at the tower hotel, such a nice place & reasonably priced, the location is perfect for the cathedral, lots of bars and restaurants nearby not that you need them as the hotel has a lovely bar and restaurant too. Very comfortable and well proportioned rooms, great bar and food couldn't ask for more
