location, you will need a car for your duration in this hotel and from airport. since the hotel is not near the other tourist location not many options available. Private transfers can be very expensive to add.

The resort is very nicely designed with a great pool area. The staff is very friendly! The rooms are spacious. We had a ground floor room with a nice little terrace.

The only thing that we were missing is a tea/coffee facility in the room.

The is very customer oriented. The friendliness and helpfulness of Pina and Simona who really want to make you feel home. Family like run property.

The location, price-quality, no small children…but the most important part: the staff. They can make or break it…but definitely made it. And meeting Pina made our stay !

Breakfast was good. The service was great, the ladies serving during breakfast, at the pool and during dinner were super friendly, especially Pina. Pina did service with a smile all day long.

No lunch being served, that was somewhat disappointing. Dinner was expensive.

Pool closed at 6.30pm due to chlorination cycle. This is too early. Dining area outside could be improved. Breakfast menu could be varied a bit more.

We spent 4 great days at beautiful Alcantara Resort di Charme and we honestly struggled to leave! Since we arrived we were treated with the upmost kindness and friendliness. We were escorted to our room and showed around the premises, and they even allowed us a quick dip in the swimming pool "outside the hours" as we had had a very long trip, also offering us welcome drinks. Our room was large and comfortable, with a private terrace looking on the erupting Mount Etna. Breakfast was included, very abundant and very tasty. The staff members were genuinely friendly and helpful and always ready to accommodate some small requests: my husband had to work one morning so we asked if they could delay tidying up our room to the afternoon. Also, when I asked if I could please have a dress ironed, they made sure they did it asap and brought it back to our room for me to find when I got back. On the night we arrived we dined at the resort’s restaurant and both service and food were great. The resort is located very conveniently, 10 minutes drive from Giardini - Naxos, about 20 minutes drive from Taormina and Alcantara Gorges River Park.

It is a very small location with only 20 rooms/ apartments. They had amazing staff who were personal and professional at the same time. The facilities and the restaurant were great. Definitely recommend staying here!

Feels like family. It is so nice to stay in smaller resorts. Placed directly in nature and the beach only a view minutes car drive away. The personal was extraordinarily sweet and the dinner was our highlight, one of the best meals we got to enjoy in Sicily. Can warmly recommend ❤️

Alexandro can speak dutch and is more than welcome to give good tips on how to discover the area. For our honeymoon we got a room with a very nice view on the Etna and received a bottle of wine and a welcome's drink. We loved our stay in this little piece of paradise. We recommend taking the 4 course dinner, as the food was amazing!
