Everything great except location up in the hills, narrow winding road uphill, difficult to find. Taxi from there to center 18 euros.

Explanation of exact location and how to get there. We saved on city parking but then we spent 30-36 euros a day going to Graz and back by taxi.

The prepayment was debited before closing the reception. Calls and messages were not answered. I had to look for a new place in the middle of the night. the building itself is on the outskirts where there is a very poor mobile connection

Very good breakfast, with any egg and/or bacon cooked to order. Loved the quiet location on a hill, up above Graz, with countryside on the doorstep, giving the best of both worlds. Hotel has a lovely garden, which I imagine would be great for an evening meal, but unfortunately wasn't something we could enjoy on this visit.

The lack of info on the local area, especially any walking and about restaurants down in the city. Having said that the dear old lady at reception did her best to verbally guide us to one on the evening we arrived, as the hotel resturant was closed at that time,

There was nobady at the reception desk at the time of our arrival and it took us quite a while to find someone to check us in. The room, we had booked was taken, so we had to stay at much smaller room where we hardly fit. The stuff was nice and helpful and they offered us a beer as an excuse. The last unpleasant thing was the playground (as we have a little child we always look for a place with playground in the garden). The playground wasn’t in a good condition, wich made it really dangerous for children.

Breakfast was poor and it was impossible to connect to the Wifi in the room, no one could explain how to do it, there were no people at the reception.

Free parking .... that’s about it!

Pretty much everything l am afraid to say .... room very dated and not very clean, bed uncomfortable, linen very old, pillows terrible - hairdryer broken, could find only one power socket that worked. Advertised restaurant no longer functioning - didn’t risk breakfast. Grumpy owners/staff.

Overall we had a great experience in this Gasthof. Especially the restaurant totally exceeds our expectations. You can enjoy a wonderful local meal in their beautiful garden. The ambient is friendly, welcoming and relaxing. I had the best Johannisbeere juice in Austria, which is so fruity and refreshing. For the main course, I ordered fried mushroom recommended by the Chef, which may be the local dish and worths trying. As for the breakfast is okay with wide choices. You also can order egg dishes, which is super.

The hotel take place in beautiful silent place. Room is clear. The staff is friendly.

The Wi-Fi isn't good. Brekfast not enough.
