The hotel from the last time I visited looks renewed has been kept in an amazing condition and the hot springs are just the best! there's so much history and it looks beautiful! the service is also very good.

The room that we got was not as nice as I wanted it to be for the price that we paid, the washroom and spa also needs an update it was very old.

Everything, I love this place, first came over 20 years ago and it's still the same. Absolutely gorgeous.

Just one thing.... The piped music.

Besides the beautiful location and history of the property the thermal pool is a huge advantage for staying there. It is a few minutes out of the town of Paipa but it is a reality onto its own and a wonderful get away if that's what you are wanting. The Hacienda is really near self-sufficient just like it was intended to be from it's 1716 beginnings. The lodging is lovely, bar and restaurant very good and the type of place you really should stay for at least a couple or more days.

Pool was green and mineral, as always. Could have been hotter. Good massage. Breakfast was generous. Staff always polite. Surrounding landscape beautiful.

Hate wearing the silly caps in the pool. Coffee weak. Wifi constantly flickering in and out. Creepy "spa music" in the air everywhere. Sad to see the historic eucalyptus tree brutally truncated.

Excellent hotel full of history. Loved how original everything is and how well kept... from the door's colonial style peephole to the locks and bathrooms. Highly recommended

Accessibility from parking to reception is not handicap or baby stroller friendly.

Breakfast - Excellent! We ate until our heart was content. Pool - very nice. As it's not too deep, it would benefit from some sitting space within the pool (it's a thermal pool). Room - very good. Setting - lovely hacienda.

Note - I would recommend this place without a doubt. The two points below are just here to fill the box. Restaurant service could have been quicker. However, the restaurant had many more positives than the slowness of service. It's a bit pricey for Colombian standards. However, still get a lot for your money and it's cheaper than a Holiday Inn in England.

The hotel was awesome. The staff was helpful and really friendly.
