We love the rooms in the chateau with its high timber ceilings and spacious feel. The bed was very large and superbly comfortable! Breakfast was a wonderful experience, sitting around a huge table with other guests and being served by Mary, Connor and Monique. It was all very welcoming and friendly. They were also very helpful with information and were quick to fix a minor problem we had in our bathroom.

We personally found our room a little difficult having steps down from the bedroom to the bathroom.

The warm welcome and friendliness of Mary, Conor and Monique. It felt like staying with friends. The big table for breakfast where you could share breakfast with fellow guests. The outside heated swimming pool was also a benefit. We really loved the whole experience staying in a beautiful château.

There was nothing to dislike.

The room and the property in general was so tastefully done. it was grand whilst being extremely comfortable.

What a lovely stay we had at the beautiful Chateau de Beaulieu, from its location just outside Saumur and adjacent to cute villages and many vineyards. to the charming hostess Mary and her nice staff, the delicious breakfast, the elegant room and comfy bed - we felt very much at home. Highly recommend it and would love to come back next year!

Beautiful chateaux , very helpful staff with a bonus swimming pool. Wi Fi did'nt work but it was'nt an issue for us .

Lovey property with beautiful gardens, and a nice sized swimming pool. Tranquil location 1.5km from the centre of Saumur. Mary and Monique made our stay very pleasant, and provided a substantial continental breakfast to start each day. The common rooms and bedrooms are delightfully furnished and give a real sense of atmosphere. Beautiful house and lovely hosts we'll be back again !

What a gem! We were only here for one night, but wished it was more. We were greeted with a warm welcome as we were shown round the chateaux. The décor is beautiful and in keeping with the style of the building. We stayed in a junior suite which had an open fireplace and seating area as well as a very comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom with a freestanding roll top bath and a large shower. The town is about a 25 minute walk but only recommended during daylight as there is no street lighting. We followed the cycle path along by the river, rather than walking on the road. We used our car to go out for dinner in the evening - parking is easy in the town. A generous breakfast was provided, with guests sitting together round a very large dining table. Would happily go back again.

The owners were formidable hosts and the chateau is amazing. Breakfast was fantastic and we felt like friends visiting.

Breakfast was delicious! Conor and Mary were warm and generous with their time and pride in the b & b and in Saumur. Monique, the madame of all trades, was invaluable, friendly, and attentive to our every need.

Nothing could have been better. Very few, if any, guests come here without a car. Because we had none, our hosts adjusted and did all they could to ease our challenge of being about two miles outside of downtown Saumur.

Lovely chateau with very nice Irish owners. It is decorated their house (which it is) slightly ramshackle but loads of charm. Room was good, fourposter bed very comfortable. Breakfast was sumptuous
