Perfect location!

can’t think of anything apart from wasps at breakfast - but that’s hardly the fault of the accommodation and they did their best to deter them .

The Location at all!!! Right to the Beach- you have it all, what you REALLY need, and MORE!! Extremely FRIENDLY Staff there! The Room itself was simple, but very CLEAN and the Bed was very comfortable, NO backpain next Morning! The enclosed Taverna (from same owner) offers delicious Food at a reasonable Price. Service was VERY kind, HONEST, funny and attentive! Wenn had a continental BF, included, wich was very good. (Delicious toasted Bread and Pastry, Greek Yohurt, OJ and Coffee, Jam+ Honey- SIMPLE, bit really enough until Lunch!) We had a GREAT STAY and received MUCH more than expected! Was definately WORTH the drive out of Melidoni. THANK YOU for everything, even if we had just one night. Shame on US!!!

There is nothing we didn't like. Maybe another 2 or 3 Poweroutlets in the Room would be appreciated, but THAT' S ALL!!!! Thank you, again!

Breakfast is quite modest.

As always, a pleasure to stay here in Kato Zakros, right on the beach, with delicious breakfast, clean simple rooms and fantastic friendly service. It is beginning to feel like staying with family! Good aircon, good wifi, amazing sea and beach with free sunbeds and shade. We were very well looked after, and despite some of the group being a little challenging, all was dealt with professionally and with great kindness. The Temple -Palace of Zakros with it's healing springs and the 'Gorge of the Dead' are so worth a visit, the spring water is amazing and the wildlife therefore very rich. The road to get here is long and deliciously mountainous, but ash-felted all the way. The location is like no where else on earth and if you like quiet, out of the way, unspoilt 'wild' Crete, do not miss visiting! You will experience Greek hospitality at it's best.

We would love to have mosquito nets on the windows so you could have the air come in and the aircon off at night.

the bed was in very bad condition. The mattress sunk in the middle. no windows.

The location was fabulous. definitely off the beaten track.

The bed could use an overhaul. The springs were… let’s just say ‘springy’.

The location is fabulous - you have the sound of waves breaking on the beach just below all night and a view to die for. The quality of build and fittings is very high, even if the room is small (would be very small for 2 people but fine for just me). Real coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast.

The rest of the included breakfast was a little disappointing - just toast and butter/jam and a couple of little sweet doughnuts, but no choice offered at all. Maybe there could be an option to have something savoury and/or containing protein instead, as offered in the other accommodations I've stayed in so far in the last week (all priced lower than Coral Rooms, just for the record) - eggs or yoghurt maybe? Just a suggestion.. thank you.

Position, cleaning and tavern staff, food

Bed uncomfortable, no TV in the room but shown in the room description. Booked 10 months in advance a sea view room, to be sure to have one with frontal sea view (more expensive than lateral sea view ones) but at the same price, had a lateral sea view one.

Great location, by the beach and can hear the waves. Great dinner and breakfast. Room was comfortable and clean

The location is wonderful, at the top of the beach commanding a view of sunrise over the ocean which is literally just yards away. Breakfast was on the terrace overlooking the sea and a choiçe of tavernas within a minutes easy stroll make life very comfortable.

This was the cheapest on out list as we went around Greece and was exceptional. The room was small as described, bathroom modern and the most peaceful beach 19 steps away. Slept with the sound of the waves and I’ve never been so content. The staff were lovely too. Breakfast was yoghurt and toast which suited me fine. There are a few tavernas in the area, hiking routes but really if you like peace and quiet definitely go Thank you

Nothing! I wouldn’t recommend the room if you were larger it was a squeeze around the bed with normal sized people.

it’s beachfront you only have to go downstairs for the tavernas. friendly staff, good food

it’s pricey for just a room with a tiny loo, but we didn’t mind that for 2 nights. they need to update the mini fridge- too noisy and we couldn’t have ice in the icebox.

Good location for the sea and nearby Gorge and Archaeological site. The breakfast was excellent.
