The room was cosy, breakfast was lovely, with a wide choice from fresh fruit and yoghurt to a full cooked breakfast, and the hostess and her helpers were friendly.

Our hostess was very welcoming, the accommodation was clean and inviting and the breakfast was excellent. The parking was off-road and spacious. The shower was a little disappointing in terms of water pressure but it was an upstairs room in a period house, so only to be expected really

Being on the main through-route of the town, the street lighting was a minor disturbance. Although there were blinds, the curtains were purely ornamental. A darker room would certainly have ensured a more restful sleep for me but it's a very personal thing. On a side note; not easily accessible for those with mobility issues due to the stairs, though I believe there is at least one downstairs room, so perhaps this is disability adapted.
