I went to a five star hotel cheaper than Be Cosy.

Ants were all over the flat, cold shower at night, same breakfast throughout the week, due to my mom having a knee surgery we were placed on the 3rd floor which was difficult for her to walk

Location is grest . Staff is very friendly and helpful.

We have a HB , and I be so surprised that we need to pay for a water . You don’t have a free water during a dinner , no water at the room … every time we pay 1l 70MUR . So not free water at this hotel . . Food is okey , but for our kids don’t have a choices ( because of a lot of spices) , so they eat or macaroni or white rice with a salad - our case HB not be a good option . I recommend you a breakfast and east at the restaurant at the corner - Suvenir - great food and prices . Bathrooms- we just have 2 little soaps, and that is all. We have all with us ( just in case ) but just to be ready and bro g ( or buy ) everything. I not expecting lux , but a shampoo is a minimum .

Old furnitures in the room, the bed was really uncomfortable and creaky even after our complaints nothing was done. Wi-Fi connection only at the exterior. Bad smell coming from the toilet/shower inside the room. Swimming pool not very clean. Buffet had a poor variety of food and not not cooked properly. (Don’t ask for a burger!!!)

We came early in the morning and they gave us a room to rest and refresh while waiting for check-in (at 14h). That was so nice, especially after a very long journey to Mauritius.

Quite big hotel located close to a busy road but build so that has a really peaceful inner court. Perfect for those willing to spend time at the hotel and/or satisfied with busy beach nearby. Very good breakfast and excellent service. We had a Christmas dinner which was amazing with all the choices and decorations etc. Shower was great and there would have been enough space for 4 people in it ;). Very suitable for few nights stay at this part of the island.

Room was really (even unnecessary) big and not homely at all because there were not really any decorations. Lots of empty room in the bedrooms but kitchen was tiny. Rooms could have e.g. big colorful paintings on the walls. Beds were poor and there are pigeons living in the inner roof and they make lots of noice and dirty droppings to outdoor stairs. Hotel's music selection in the Christmas Eve was rather weird thinking about that most of the customers are either families with young children or older couples and still one felt like being in the club. Also it was very loud and lasted for too late in the evening. Pool was quite small and most suitable for only young children. Nearby beach was really busy and after a small local beach there were only private beaches that belong to hotels so one can only walk through and it is really narrow.

I think more poison traps should be set for cockroaches as we had a few entering our apartment on the ground floor during our stay. wifi also wasn’t great
