location was near town and nice and quiet. the breakfast was great and included. the staff were extremely friendly.

walls were thin and the shower did not drain well (the floor was slanted toward the shower door rather than the drain). this may have been a one off. we have stayed in similarly nice places for cheaper on the Camino. overall a nice stay

Best room rates, Really friendly staff, spotless clean large modren rooms, mine had a partial sea view, easy check in, pets allowed at no extra cost, free garage parking, big selection of breakfast included in the room rate, easy to walk or dive into town and only 20 mins drive to the ferry in Bilbao. Was the perfect place to stop before catching the ferry back to Ireland.

Receptionist very very helpful, and told us exactly how to park in the covered secure garage (very easy) how to get in and out, wifi, breakfast timetable etc. Requested a quiet room at the end of a corrider (had my dog) and the room I was given was perfect.

A bit of a walk into town, but it was a lovely beach walk.

Noisy location on a main road. Opposite a football ground and below residential flats and a repair garage next door with banging and hammering. Castro Urdiales has two sides; the marina and typically Spanish streets and cafes - and the beach side with vast numbers of multi-storey apartments. This hotel was at the back end of this area so not close to the beach and well away from the attractive old Spanish area.

The staff was amazing, we felt well taken care of. They gave us a heater and wine glasses. The room was comfortable, even though we didn't get the double bed we asked for in the booking. The breakfast was tasty, and the view was quite nice.

We spent the whole weekend there, 3 nights, but we only slept well the first one. The other guests made noise very late in the evening and kept us awake. The room was a bit cold too, the heating wasn't sufficient. But they gave as a heater at the reception and we were fine.
