Room spacious and very new & modern with all the relevant appliances in great condition. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom has everything needed.
Very noisy neighbours with kids constantly running in the passage and screaming. When we arrived - we had 4 bath towels, 2 face towels & a bath mat. The next night, we had 2 bath towels, 1 face towel & a bath mat. The next night we had 2 bath towels & a bath mat. Luckily we then left - if the trend continued, we would have a problem.

Hot water in Geyser didnt last longer during showers.
Braai was booked but was hogged by other people. Only 4 Braai stands available.

Wonderful place to stay, especially for a family with kids. lots of things to do on site and around the resort. Comfy room, safe parking, friendly staff.
The sides of the large swimming pool was really green and slimy. But not enough to keep us out of the pool. It was clean apart from the sides.

the staff were so pleasant and helpful, they even helped to send items back I forgot in the hotel room. all the facilities were perfect to just relax, you dont need to leave the premises to have fun and enjoy yourself.

The Breakers is at the quieter end of Umhlanga which I prefer. It is a great location overlooking the nature reserve and has many pools (one heated) and lots of space to relax in the gardens. Lots of activities and a great restaurant. Staff are very quick to help with any issue.
It is a bit far from the main busy part of Umhlanga but I believe this is actually a plus.

The staff was really asleep, we got there and booked in at around 5pm on Friday then 1. After checking in our room, received a phone call how are we paying, when we showed the guy at reception it was paid in full on bookings.com. 2. Our day 2, when we went out the morning and come back to room, the door key didnt want to open, back to reception again, the guy just placed on the card 1 night, where we actually booked for 4.

I liked the ocean view. I liked that the beach was walking distance. I liked the heated pool.
I didn't like the condition of the pool facilities, the parking was leaking. Most of the resort looked like it wasn't properly maintained.

Mbali at the front desk was the high-light of our trip. She is a pure example of what customer service should be like. She is kind, helpful and friendly and really made our trip more special. We will definitely be visiting soon again. Thank you 😊

I loved the location of Breakers , and the proximity to beach, promenade and the Nature Reserve. The Forest Cafe on the walkway was so quaint and cosy with great coffee. I especially loved the facilities on offer at Breakers, the pools, minitiature golf , games and the salon which we made use of.
The rooms require more work to make it more modern. The window panes and doors were old and require refurbishment

Perfect location, heated pool, ocen view
Very noisy! without earplugs there is no chance to sleep. Staff talking loudly in the corridors, children are screaming and running outside the window since 6 in the morning. There is simply no sound insulation
We ordered a wrap at the restaurant, so inside was BIG BUG
No wifi in the rooms
