Beautiful property; clean; great breakfast

Distance from the beach and main town

We loved the nature, the complex has it's own jungle garden and you can enjoy the many animal sounds (birds, cats) instead of traffic. We received a bunch of water bottles upon arrival, we had a fridge, a big bed, hot shower, we used the laundry service and our clothes came back nicely clean and folded. We rented a scooter which is a must, because depending on taxis costs you way more (time and money) and you can park it easily in front of the entrance to the garden area. There's a nice pool as well. In case you want your room cleaned, you have to ask for that in advance, so we only asked for changing the towels.

The only thing we didn't enjoy was the sewer smell coming from the bathroom, but it was better if we kept the door closed. If you're not planning to rent a scooter or a car, think about staying somewhere closer to shops, restaurants etc.

This was an amazing stay right in the nature. Much better than expected! The staff is so nice abd helpful, the pool was wonderful and the rooms are great! Be aware, it's a 20 min walk away from the main road, but l didn't bother at all!

Very quiet and cozy place. Responsive and caring staff. Lovely garden and possibility to go up to the second floor. We wanted to stay for three days, but stayed for five. Recommended!

you need some time to get this property under your skin, but it happened ;) we totally loved the roof shower with sunbed, very good breakfasts for 100THB.

maybe just the motobike rental price, starts on 300THB per day, saw some 150THB deals in the city

Everything! We stayed for 8 nights and did not want to leave. The resort was so peaceful and surrounded by nature. We loved the spacious outside area where we could relax any time of the day. The staff were so friendly and the owner helped us with tours, hiring a bike, advice around the island etc. Gutted to be leaving but will absolutely be coming back in the future! A very special place.

The best place ever!!! We stayed for 6 nights and wish our trip lasted longer, just to be able to enjoy the accommodation more. Baan Boom Boxes is a real heaven on earth. A family owned resort where everything looks so beautiful and is calm, so we got a lot of rest. They care so much about sustainability and every little detail is very well thought of. It was my boyfriend’s birthday the second day we came so we got upgraded to a better room for free. They’ve also given him a little cake as a present. The staff is just amazing! We enjoyed the swimming pool and the little terrace with a bath tub on top of the room. Breakfast (for only a 100 baht per person) was so delicious and everything we ate was from their own garden. Also, you have a place where you can get water, coffee and tea for free throughout the day. They arranged transportation to and from the airport and motorbike rent for us, for very affordable prices. You need a scooter to reach anything on the island, but we had no problem with that because wherever you stay, you will need a scooter to travel around.

The location was amazing. I personally like going for walks out in the nature.The lady was nice enough to give me some bread and some jam but the coffee isn't in your room but outside at the reception space.

No Value for money. My Gf had to work that day and since the time we arrived the wifi was had no data. Like 4 networks but none worked. I spoke to the lady and she said sorry she will fix it but it was too late.the price was too expensive for such a place. atleast they could have included breakfast with the whole deal. but its tourist season so less care. The bathroom shower kept leaking so it was loud and clear during night time. Did I mention wifi was really bad. and its not good value for money 35$ for night !!! unsatisfied.

It has nice village vibes. The staff is nice. Fresh air.

It's super loud during the night since the house is basically a track container so no sound isolation, even on contrary it seems like it's louder inside. You can hear every step of your neighbors when they are walking because the flour is metal and it vibrates, so your bad vibrating every time someone steps on the flour even neighbors. They claim that they are an eco hotel but chickens are trapped in barrels without the possibility to walk. The internet is almost not working. The bath is fake, you can't use it. it's on the roof and there is no hot water.

Baan Boom Boxes is an amazing getaway, surrounded by green nature. The place was super zen, green and clean. Also the hosts were super friendly and even arranged a bike for us!

the owner knows how to put you at ease, the place is really good. the size of the room. Fruits and animals everywhere calm the tanning area and its shower.

I agree with the idea of the most ,"eco". I felt as at home, because the atmosphere and the environment was peacefull and quite, clean and good smell in the bungalow. The owner of the hotel is very friendly , I didn't have any cash and she allowed me to pay the next day.It was also possible to rent a motorbike directly in the hotel with them for only 200 b a day what is absolutly comfortable and recommendable.

The only area I would improve, it was the breakfast. You want you can order breakfast for 100 bath , what i did . So one fried egg and one omlet in the same plate seemed incompatible.

Another unique and charming property ran by a wonderful Thai couple. Could hear a pin drop at night. Beds very comfortable with quality linens. Nice breakfast with self serve coffee/water, fresh eggs (chickens on the property) and fruit grown on site apparently. Owners are very accommodating, ask what you need and I'm sure they'll make it happen.

Unfortunately it was cloudy and rainy so the hot water wasn't available because tanks are solar. thankfully a friend loaned me her motorbike so I could get around. travelers who can't or not willing to walk need some form of transportation. WIFI was spotty and not strong enough for video calls. A few tweaks and this property would be a gem.

Beautiful view, clean and spacious rooms, eco-friendly, rooftop to sit, and the staff was absolutely amazing. They were on top of spraying to keep spiders out!

Pool was a little cold, but may be better on hotter days!

First of all i do not usually write comments because im to lazy but the manager of this place is just outstanding! She was so kind, calm and helpful in every situation. The sourroundings of this place were like a piece of paradise!

Everything. I’ve never been so impressed with a resort. Linn (hope I spelled her name correctly) and her husband were amazing and have created the most scenic and sustainable piece of heaven, from the furniture to the linens to the hearty breakfast. I’ll recommend this place to everyone I know staying in Samui.

That I had to leave.

Beautifully designed, great concept, you can only hear the noise of the jungle. Everything was clean, the bed super comfortable and I loved the rooftop area with the outside shower - perfect to catch the sunset from there. The swimming pool is also really nice & clean. Thank you!

The quietness. Not that far from the maddening crowd. The beautiful Boxes, the setup is excellent. The pool, the beautiful garden. If you want to get away and have a peaceful time then Boom Boxes is for you!

As I said, it is far from the maddening crowd. It would help if you hired a bike, so be warned. But our host drove us to the market to get dinner. Another reason to have a bike, lunch and dinner is not catered for.
