The owners were absolutely lovely and so welcoming. Despite being so far away from home, they really made me feel right at home. The property, gardens and room were absolutely gorgeous. The small details really bring the whole property together. It is so relaxing and calming to just walk around the gardens and see the beautiful peacocks that are around. I honestly can't wait to come back, this place is a hidden gem. And breakfast was absolutely delicious! They also have a decent sized shop where you can buy snacks and jam. If you need to do any grocery shopping or forget a tooth brush there is a grocery store within a 5-10 minute drive from the property.

Everything was wonderful, from the nice (spacious) room, the beautiful garden with peacocks and the exceptional breakfast in a stunning room with an adjacent shop with organic foods. Besides that, the owners very friendly and welcoming. We’re happy to come back here in the future!

a true hidden gem in German wine country, the two owner are truly amazing, welcoming and warm! Beautiful rooms, wonderful garden with charming peacocks, an ethnological museum with marvels from afar! LGBTQ friendly, homey, peaceful - will definitely come back!
