The property is beautiful! The pictures and descriptions were very accurate and we had everything that we needed to enjoy our stay with our kids and grandkids. A new pavillion was just added and it is also beautiful. The location is private nestled in a wooded area. Great experience.

We had the entire family in two cabins close by … it was an excellent place to gather after the memorial services … clean, neat, quiet, handicap accessible with ground floor bedrooms … nice washer & dryer … lovely, open kitchen with lots of seating and ample kitchen cooking utensils… thanks!

House was great including location there was on issue. The split unit in master bedroom sounded like a diesel truck running all night long. All in all beautiful place.

Lazy Bear Lodge was everything we were looking for and more! It was absolutely beautiful, clean, and cozy! It is in a great location in Benezette. The lodge is off the main trail so you still get to enjoy peace and privacy, but still be close to the visitor center and viewing areas. It was also nice to have the hot tub, grill, and fire pit available. We. Loved every minute of being there and can’t wait to go back!

We were extremely fortunate on this trip. This was my second trip to the area and I wanted my friends to see elk. We saw at least 30 elk on this trip in 3 different locations. We will definitely be back!

We are a group of 5 women who have been friends for 50+ years. Go away together annually. Didn’t have much time this year so we stayed close. Beautiful home, awesome location, quiet, and clean. Had an amazing time!!! Unfortunately, didn’t see an Elk, but heard lots bugling.

Had a wonderful stay at the Lazy Bear Lodge. We had a full house with 16 people from ages 14 - 80. House was fully equipped and at a great location for Elk viewing. We will definitely return to this beautiful house again in the future.

Second stay
This is our second time staying in this house and have enjoyed both stays! We love the hot tub and well-equipped kitchen. Plenty of beds and towels/blankets. The upstairs loft with fooseball is great for the kids but would love if the owners would put a second tv with streaming in this area.

Lazy Bear
This house is beautiful and has all the amenities. My issue is with Evolve. It is very hard to get in touch with someone. I sent numerous emails. many with no response. The phone tree tells you send send emails. The price of the house rental went up so significantly that I will not be able to afford this for future rentals.

I just arrived home from Lazy Bear Lodge. It is so clean, modern, spacious and beautifully decorated. Everything was there that we needed. No one wanted to leave. 💕💕

Slice of heaven
My family and I had a absolutely fantastic stay. The pictures on line do not do this place justice. For a family that loves the outdoors this was a perfect place for us with the elk visiting the yard at dinner time. The home was done very nicely with everything we could have needed.

Weekend Getaway
This was the perfect place for a quiet winter weekend away from the everyday responsibilities. We saw some elk up close along the road and did some on site hiking to see more farther away. The cabin was extremely clean and comfortable. We wished there was a hairdryer but other than that, everything we could need was there. Having four wheel drive was very helpful especially the last few miles. It was a quiet and peaceful place and we wished we could’ve stayed longer.

Beautiful Cabin
Our stay was amazing saw a lot of elk. The cabin was very clean and kitchen stocked with all your needs. The only thing we had wished it had was one additional Tv. With it being the winter months and couldn’t get outside much the kids needed somewhere to watch a holiday movie ( there’s only so much Uno and Yatzyee you can play). With all the family gathered in the kitchen it was impossible for the kids to hear the tv. The loaf area would be the perfect spot for the addition.

AMAZING!!!
This is an absolute must!!! If you are searching just book the Lazy Bear Cottage immediately!!! The house was beautiful, incredibly clean and had all you would need to create an amazing getaway. We could not get over how we had everything we needed in the kitchen, if you love to cook they have you covered. The Lazy Bear is just a short drive from the Elk Visitor Center, the viewing area and town. We will absolutely come back for years to come!!!

Lazy Bear
This house is perfect for a group or large family. The first things we noticed is the cleanliness of the house. It is spacious and has great outside seating. We had a group of 11 and had such a wonderful stay. Reached out to Jason about a question and he was very responsive. We like that the linens re supplied and the kitchen is well stocked with what you need to cook and clean. Looking forward to next year!

Lazy Bear
It was a great time to take a break in the vast life we live always on the go , just got home 2 days before going to Benezette from a grizzly bear hunt in Alaska, now there where the sights to see there but still a great time viewing the Elk and we saw plenty and heard lots from the house, we've been coming to Benezette for about 15 yrs. now stayed at the Castle and your ohter house Elk terrace.

Wonderful place to relax!
The pictures of the property were gorgeous and it did not disappoint! The house was extremely clean and well stocked and beautifully decorated. Very spacious rooms and comfortable beds and seating. We loved the fire ring and deck with hot tub for when we were outside. We were visited by an elk a couple of times during our stay. We only went for a long weekend but plan to be back next year for at least a week! Thank you so much!

Beautiful out of way
The property was beautiful and close to the Elk Visitor center. The home had tons of extra touches of home that were so appreciated. We packed tons of supplies that other rentals don't usually supply, but this rental did. A home that was designed for family enjoyment and comfort. Loved it!

Our family had a wonderful weekend! The Lazy Bear Lodge had everything we needed and more! Our grandkids were so exited to hear the Elk and even more impressed when they saw the Elk for the 1st time. Yearly Family Getaway
The Cozy Bear Lodge was wonderful! Our family stays in Benezette as an annual weekend getaway. We come from Pa & Ohio ranging in age from young to old. We had a fabulous time! The Lodge has everything we needed to arrive & just enjoy the company. Sitting around the campfire listening to the elk bugle at night was a favorite. We had ample space for all. The other sites were friendly as everyone waved in passing. The owners & Evolve were great to work with! All felt cozy & at home. We hope to return next year for the 2020 Elkaversary! Thanks for sharing your Lodge in elk country!

Beautiful getaway
I stayed here with my family in mid August. While it was not yet peak elk season we still saw a lot of wildlife nearby, including deer, elk, a bear and turkeys. The home was beautiful and is stocked with everything you could possibly need. Very happy with the home and the hosts, would definitely stay again!
