The family room was large and had a king size bed plus bunk beds. Very stylish. A good selection for breakfast.

The water draining from the room upstairs was incredibly loud and woke us up at 0600.

In the separate wing where we were, were people located who were living there and they were rubbing in the hallway, slamming doors and banging on windows every night. Housekeeping was below standards that we are used to from the hotel

Cozy atmosphere- nice bar area to get some work done. Good food options- many very affordable

I missed a simple work chair

The heating of the air conditioner did not function. We only had the electrical fire place to heat the room. i did not like the idea of having toilet separate from the bathroom. At least three should have been a wash basin in the toilet room.

Nicely furnished, comfortable, cozy and spacious rooms. Coffee and tea in the room. It has a nice restaurant. The breakfast buffet is great.

I have stayed here many many times over the last ten years I work for Lantech I haven't stayed here however since Covid the location has a good and breakfast and the food

My checkin was an utter shambles 5 people took a long time couldn't get my name correct couldn't find my booking for me and the kids we had two rooms they just tapped away without telling me what was wrong speaking in Dutch when I'm English and previously the staff never did this. I kept asking what was the problem and blank stares it was actually so unprofessional it's untrue. Compared to Sunday the woman who checked me out was excellent. The 5 members of staff on Saturday were either rude or trainees but nobody bothered to tell me the guest. So we were just stood there whilst they tapped on computers not understanding why my weeks ago booking couldn't be found. !! not impressed. Also and really this is utterly disgusting the Dining room has loads of flies buzzing around hanging on the tables windows and guests. there are flies everywhere in the dining area please remove these they are awful. this was not the case before. I don't think my stay reflects standards of Van der valk. I practically lived in this hotel before Covid via my employer booking this for me. I really was very disappointed. Sorry it was better when I stayed here before. Also rooms 244 and 246 looked dated carpets dated bathrooms dated needs a refresh as per the photos you show on the website this is not accurate

The whole hotel is air-conditioned constantly to the same temperature, all the time 24/24 7/7. I felt very cold when I entered the room. The staff told me I should put on heating. As we are in the climate change crisis, I find this a joke. Freeze air and then consume double energy to heat it again? While the temperatures outside are just the same that you'd like to have in your room and opening a window would just be enough. Unacceptable. I guess the hotel has been designed this way but stg should be done about it.

The "high class" feeling of the hotel and rooms. The breakfast was fabulous, with many things to try. We especially like the freshly squeezed orange juice, the smoothies, freshly ground coffee, and selection of cheese and salmon (in addition to other nice meals). The beds were the best we had in several years - we slept really well there. The hotel staff was always at service. The hotel is highly recommended if you want to spend a few relaxing days.

The location of the hotel was a little bit far away from the Nijmegen city centre than expected (approximately 20 minutes drive). Since we had to drive to Nijmegen several times during our stay, we thought that this hotel is a better solution if you want to have a peaceful and relaxing environment than if you want to have a stay near the city.

No room temperature control on a Day when outside it was 36 degrees. Like being in a sauna

The breakfast is good, there are different choices of eating. The dining area is comfortable and the room is big and has enough space for walking around. There are a lot of parking spots and parking is free.

The cleaning of this hotel has a big problem and I’ve never been to any 4stars hotel like this. The first room we checked in has a lot of hair in different areas on the bed, as well as in the sink and bathtub. Then we requested to change the room and there is a staff member who went with us. She showed us a few other rooms, all those rooms have either hair on the bed, a big spider on the wall, or small animals flying around in the bathroom. The staff member was not so friendly in the first place, and later they see the problems in the room, then they are softer to us. Besides that, the trash can is not closed and the bed is not straight, all those details show that the hotel cleaning and arrangement do not match the four stars' hotel standards. There is a fitness room but the equipment is quite old and some of them are broken. However, the receptionist said that she will tell the manager about the problem and let the manager contact us. But a week now already and no one contact us. We are super disappointed about this hotel.
