Eine wirklich schöne alte Klosteranlage, historisch und doch sehr belebt, es gibt drumherum viel zu entdecken, 1 Nacht war viel zu kurz!

Im Vorfeld gab es keinen Hinweis, dass das Frühstück nur mit Zeitfenster möglich ist. Die Bestellung beim Check-in sollte angeblich reichen. Beim Check-in abends hieß es dann aber: kein Frühstück mehr buchbar. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht, bekamen aber einen sehr guten Tipp für ein Frühstück im Ort. Wenigstens etwas.

we hadden een ontruiming maar er was hierover weinig communicatie we stonden om half 4 in de ochtend beneden zonder communicatie. Een excuus of iets anders was op zijn plek geweest.

Es war es einfach zu buchen, einzuchecken alle Infos zu vekommen. Die Abtei ist sehr alt und befindet sich in einem sehr gutem Zustand, gut geoflegt!

Die Türen waren so dünn und der Schloss war so laut, dass ich alle Nachbarn hören konnte, insbesondere in der Nacht. Ich sollte lieber ein mehr teueres Zimmer buchen.

Tolle, ungewöhnliche Location. Ich hatte ein Komfort Doppelzimmer im oberen Stockwerk. Sehr geräumiges Zimmer, Dusche groß, sehr gutes Frühstück.

Loved the surrounding and the building and parks and the green outside.

Booked the hotel last minute, unfortunately I arrived late. Very beautiful suggestive Abbey. Felt like stepping back in time to Italy. The girl who welcomed me was very kind and hospitable. I will definitely come back in the future for learn more about the history and the beauty of that place

The venue is of course something unique. It feels like you're walking back in history. Very nice surroundings as well and close to both Germany and Belgium. Beds were very comfortable and the room was clean.

I wish we could at least into the main church/abbey itself without a tour. Also, the rooms with common bathrooms stink really bad! They need an upgrade and a coat of paint.

Great location

Extremely noisy surroundings, shared toilets and showers were filthy, room had a broken lamp, there was a pill from a previous guest on the floor and my room was directly next to the seating area where people were being very loud till late.

That the history is not clearly told, nor tours are well communicated or limited hours.

Toilets were not very clean, and some of the showers were broken.

De rust was formidabel

I always like nature near by. Staff was kind to give me room with shower insider.

First time I saw, rooms with shower outside. I stayed many times. It is not comfortable to do shower outside. I need every time to be careful or ask for possibilities of shower inside. Thanks to staff it has been resolved this time.

The hotel has a fantastic setting, full of character and original charm. Public spaces are very grand reflecting the history of the property.

Rooms are large in area, but very basic. Bathroom cramped. Beds are 2 small singles to make a double with each single being very small - not comfortable. 3rd floor rooms, where I stayed, are very stuffy, only 1 small window and no air conditioning so the room is very hot at night - even in moderate (~20DegC) daytime conditions.

great outdoor area, but no service, no snacks. Dinner only set menu. No lunch. Also, let people know in advance if you’re going to put them up in the annex instead of the main building.

The staff’s attitude was very business- not a welcoming attitude at the reception. The shared toilets were not always that clean.

The pillows

The place itself is astonishing. I was a student there for 5 years from 1964-1969. So I enjoyed it to walk around in the building, coming back old memories.

The reception is a catastrophy ! The girl is not polite at all. You come in the reception, say good morning and her reaction is nothing… No „good morning, sir“, nothing. She just looks at you. A very bad impression. And the internet was a desaster as well.

OMG the building! It is rare you get to stay in a place with so much history. The view from window was spectacular. Felt a little like a horror movie in the best way possible. The room was simple, had all I needed. Slept well. Free parking. Deer and other animals in the area. Beautiful shower.

Curtain has some stains on it. No coffee or tea option in the room (could be nice). The canvas in the room was a bit scarry :D Has a RED coffin on it. Overall, nothing much to complain about.

The location was great. The food was fantastic.

Very nice and clean room. I go back again :) Service very kind and helpful.

Abdij Rolduc is just brilliant.
