The rooms are a nice size, everything you need is there. A nice balcony with double doors which is lovely on a summers evening. The staff were lovely and very attentive and polite. Plenty of choice at breakfast.

The location was excellent, the staff were so friendly and helpful, we absolutely loved our room, the decor was tasteful but the icing on the cake for us was the balcony over looking the sea, we spent most of our time out there. The breakfast was excellent, nice little touches like fresh fruit and homemade warm scones and muffins. We absolutely loved everything about the hotel.

We received a lovely warm welcome.The owners and staff were so friendly and extremely well organised our stay went nice and smoothly.The room was nice and clean .Was nice to have a bathroom you could actually move around in.The quality of the mattress was really good .The home made scones at breakfast was nice treat .The sofa in our room was nice and comfortable. Lay out of our room was perfect .

There we not enought gluten free or dairy free options everyone was getting cakes and muffins at breakfast and I felt a little.left out as they didn't travel options for me ... 8 still had to pay the same as everyone else (they did make a effort to put gluten free biscuits in our room) but no milk options for the tea and coffee station. Also we did stand around waiting quite a bit to be served at the bar, seemed a little under staffed But other wise a great visit x x x x

The location was perfect for us, we liked the fact that we could park easily but the absolute star of the stay was the breakfast. The quality of the ingredients and the potion size was fantastic!

Room was very clean and well presented... lovely comfortable bed, sofa and bathroom was compact but great.. Breakfast was great with a good choice... have to mention the extras, fruit and the fantastic muffins and scones all freshly baked... every day my husband and I commented on how much we enjoyed it... We had dinner the last evening we stayed... everything was lovely from the garlic mushrooms and garlic bread, the cod and beer batter was huge with lovely chunky chips, mushy peas and homemade tartar sauce... Bakewell tart for dessert was totally tasty and I felt it would be rude not to try it... The owners and every single member of staff made us feel so welcome and we loved the quirkiness of the place with great attention to detail... everyone simply promotes the hotel with a smile - well done to all...

If you are into clutter, the knights’ court is your cup of tea. The grey tired carpet is probably not to everyone’s liking. Bar beds are a no-go for guests taller than 1:85m.

We were a large group, with various dietary requirements - vegetarian, lactose intolerant and gluten free requirements. Same for dinner. The service was amazing and special thanks to Amanda for making our group feel so very welcome and that nothing was too much trouble.

The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We didn't eat at the hotel, but the food we saw looked very appealing and smelt lovely.

One very minor niggle is the shower pressure was terrible, my wife said had she needed to wash her here she probably wouldn't have been able to with the low pressure
