La proximité de la plage privative était top avec les matelas à disposition Le restaurant au dessus tenu par les gérants était très bon et l'accueil était souriant et chaleureux Le Raki nous a été offert à notre arrivée

Die Unterkunft liegt an einer sehr ruhigen Straße. Einmal rüber und man ist direkt am hauseigenen Strand. Über den Zimmern liegt direkt das Restaurant, von welchem man einen tollen Blick auf das Meer hat. Der Inhaber macht alles selber, es ist alles mit Liebe gestaltet. Parkplätze gibt's direkt vor der Tür.

Das Bad ist sehr albanisch, sprich es ist nachm Duschen alles nass. Aber daran muss man sich in Albanien gewöhnen.

The Hotel is literally by the beach. Just one step out of your room and you’re in the water :) Papi and his wife are just beautiful people - welcoming and so so helpful. The breakfast is big and very satisfying! The view from the restaurant upstairs is breathtaking. The hotel is idyllic, plants everywhere and everything self built by papi. Orikum is a quiet and peaceful area - perfect to relax! We would def come back to this amazing place. Thank you!

The bathroom was a little bit dirty and the shower is not separated which means the bathroom gets wet after the shower - HOWEVER the room and hotel is perfect for the price!

This is exactly the kind of place I was looking for, I felt like my trip in Asia in this wonderful place, There is something very strong over there , so peaceful Thanks for the warm welcome , I will come back for sure

Location just near the beach. Interesting room.

Bathroom was very unconfort, parking place behind the house was terrible (barking dogs on the leash). Behind the accomodation there is a lake and a lot of mosquitos especially in the evening. There is no view from the room - the view in the back side on the many unnecessary things. Also there was smell of desinfection detergents in the room. Restaurant is so so.

The location.

I booked this hotel because I read on booking that the food is excellent and that Papi and the staff is really nice. Well, Papi and his wife were not there that day and the lunch we ordered was not worth the money. My two kids ordered fried calamari and I thought they gave them half a portion each. And they were dripping in oil. When I asked the daughter she just shrug her shoulders. And it wasn’t cheap at all :( The next day Papi and his wife were there, they were very friendly. Breakfast was not abundant, but ok. Maybe we just had bad luck with the day.

Papi and family were extremely friendly and helpful. When my partner needed medical attention he personally drove us to the medical centre. Couldn't have been kinder. Family members are always on hand to help and Papi loves a chat. Beachfront location was perfect.. Be warned though it is extremely quiet! This is not a criticism, after all you choose Orikum beach for the peace and quiet But we were there in early June and it rained a couple of days, and without a car, there really is absolutely nothing to do or any place to go. There's not even a shop. With good weather it is a delightful, backpackery sort of place to stay. Papi had a couple of electric bikes which we borrowed, and which was fun. Although once you've cycled into Orikum itself and along the beach, that's about it. The room was somewhat cramped, but had everything you needed. The bed was very comfortable, which is the most important thing.

We were hoping to go to the nearby archeological site and nature reserve. But it is part of a naval base, and without a car it is completely impossible to enter. There are no signs to warn of this restriction but the guards were absolutely adamant. A disappointment. The room and breakfast were pretty basic. This again is not a criticism, it is really excellent value for money, just don't go there expecting 3*+ luxury accomodation.
