Beautiful location in the Tuscan countryside, close to Cortona. Nice apartment with all the basics you might need for a self catering stay.

The daytime was very peaceful on the grounds which is what we were looking for. Unfortunately we were there over the weekend and the venue was hosting a birthday party which we were unaware of. The music was loud and noisy into the early hours. However that said overall it was a lovely few days relaxing.

Pool, views, location, Tuscan design, local olive oil, ping pong table, barbeque, second shower. Overall Agroturismo S.Angelo is a wonderful place and I highly recommend it. It is located very centraly and from there we could explore all kinds of places in Tuscany. We had an apartment for 4 people (the pine apartment) that had 2 bedrooms in the upper floor, a toilet and a bath room, and a small kitchen and a living room in the lower floor. Also on the first floor there is a shower and a toilet room. It was a great surprise and very convenient since we were 2 couples. However this is a little low on maintenance... The view is stunning from the bedroom windows, and the living room is opening out to the swimming pool. Sitting on the dinning table was a bit crowded. On the first night we had dinner at the restaurant of the place. It was nice. At the next morning we also had (Italian) breakfast. The Seniora really tried to find things for my vegetarian and celiac mom to eat and she cut for her cheese, vegetables and even brought her gluten free bread. It was highly appreciated. For both, you need to book in advance. On the next day we barbeque with a grill that you can borrow but be aware that you need to buy everything, including light and soap to clean it. The beds was very comfortable, and the bed sheets and towels were super white and clean. I can also recommend the olive oil that I bought at the reception. It is very good. Just one small thing, the WiFi was really bad! Phone and data reception however, is great. So as I said, it was a great experience and I highly recommend if you are looking for a family, relaxed and beautiful and comfortable place.
