Ambience and rustic feel Friendly staff

Extremely charming owners, that welcomed us with a smile, a smile that we never saw disappear during our whole 7 days stay! Aside from the friendliness of the owners, we found it very comfortable that we could use a half-board option (breakfast and dinner). Enjoying the dinners of Yves after a day of skiing was just what we needed! Another big advantage of staying with them: they offer a shutlle service to the Ski Station of Montalbert (5 - 10 minutes drive from their place), so we didnt need to use our own car and we could avoid losing time with searching a parking spot. Also, they can offer you a discount card for your skipass!

We stayed in the Gite Auberge for 5 days. The location is great, close to many hiking routes, the rooms are very comfortable with great views , the breakfast is very good, the dinner was always surprising but most of all the attention and hospitality made us feel at home. We will sure to come back.

We liked everything

We stayed here for four nights starting September 14. The view from our room window was amazing as it is located at 1100m above sea level and there was a cool breeze even in the lingering heat of mid-September. The room was large and there was plenty of storage space to keep our luggage organized. The bathroom was large and cozy.

The gite prepares dinner and the owner chef Yves asked us what kind of food would we like to eat? so we told him we liked vegetables, and he incorporated some vegetable dishes into the meal and we enjoyed the mild taste(not too greasy, salty nor sweet) and healthy food. It was so good that we decided to eat all four nights at the gite. Yves is always smiling and really sweet person and Marie is a very humorous and active woman. They lived in US so they speak perfect English, too.

Everything was so nice and we will be going back to stay there again.

Hosts are lovely and super friendly. We ordered dinner both night and it was just delicious. Perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful view and escape from crowded places.

Meals are delicious and the welcoming together with the host gentle caring are making this B&B a great place to stay
