The stairs A disabled person would not be able access

It was like living in an old art deco home. Access to full kitchen with all ingredients for preparation of own breakfast. Very comfortable room.

A couple of times could not contact owner / staff. Hotel essentially appears to be unmanned during the day. Makeup of room sometimes missed because I was inside when cleaning lady was working but room had plentiful supply of towels etc

totally unexpected, clean, smelled good. excellent bed. Breakfast included was unexpected. the eclectic style was adorable. Couldnt be better.

lift, instead of the dreaded spiral staircase. not good I am a little on the old side with a limited disability. Managed but ...

Really easy check-in and check-out via SMS, good communication. Nice quirky little spot that I enjoyed.

Breakfast was good. Make it yourself but plenty of food and equipment.. Rooms were clean and spacious..

Easier access as appeared only stairs to access rooms.

Quirky furnishings, room and bathroom clean. Kitchen facilities to make breakfast were handy and all clean. Reminded me of staying in grandmas house with all the old fashioned furnishing. Was in good location , walking distance to eateries.

Room was cold as airco didn’t seem to work well and no way to adjust that we could see. Would have been nice to have a big doona. Did not want to use the bedspread as did not look nice. A lot of stairs which is not obvious in the booking and can be a problem for sore knees and lugging suitcases.

Room was nice and big, smart tv and a suitable bathroom. Communal kitchen was also a big plus for putting together snacks and attending the complimentary breakfast. Would definitely return.

Room was a little dusty in areas such as the fan and corners but overall not a big issue and I would stay again :)

Good breakfast provision. Good location. Pleasant renovation of old pub accommodation.

No wordrobe for hanging clothes, onlt a few coat hooks. No suitcase stand. Basic room. Lots of stairs from carpark.

Not recommended for people that have a dust mite allergy. Very stuffy.

Cessnock is a very quiet place. 2.30pm on a Saturday and virtually everything is closed. But all in all the establishment was great

Clean, convenient and quiet room with a large private new ensuite. Shared kitchen and lounge stocked with a variety of healthy breakfast food. One block away from the bus stop and the grocery store. Perfect spot for those doing a bike tour of the Hunter Valley wineries and Werekata National Park. Concierge is very pleasant, available by phone, and comes in person within minutes. Check in was super easy.

Kitchen which guests have access to was a little disconcerting - needs to make changes to provision of food items to meet normal standards. 3 floors of stairs could be an issue for disabled.
