The building and decor is lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful. Although it was a single, there was plenty of room and the bed was so comfy!

The 2 flights of stairs to the room! And I was told it would be quiet, but 2 floors up I could still here people in the bar until midnight. The room had no windows except a small one in the bathroom, so a fan would have made all the difference as it got stuffy.

Location very convenient as attending wedding nearby. Staff very friendly, breakfast excellent. Room one of the best we have stayed in. Really appreciated being able to access room early too.

Not much to say really. The only thing I could be picky about is no ordinary English breakfast tea sachets in room. But then maybe I should have asked!!

Excellent location. Lovely communal lounge spaces. Comfortable bed.

No TV remote, no welcome manual (though both were meant to be provided) and, due to no 24-he reception there was no one to ask for support. Very expensive for a single room.

quirky as it’s two buildings, clean and very good staff.

bit pricey for what really is an ordinary room. Outside of our bedroom window was the kitchen extraction which hummed most of the time.

The staff

The night time entrance is a joke. The lights are slow to switch on and it's like a rabbit Warren. For the cost of the stay you don't expect to have to let yourself in by a back entrance. We will not be staying there again. Even down to the fire regulations of having an escape plan on the back of the room door was missing!
